@Paveluljuk: According to messages of inhabitants of neighboring villages the column of the Ukrainian tanks moves to Slavyansk and Kramatorsk.

Mr. Fernandez-Taranco said that UN monitors on the ground cited armed civilians on both sides, as well as militiamen armed with AK-47's and sniper rifles among the “well-armed and well-organized” groups that consistently reinforced barricades along roads in the cities where the uprisings had occurred, adding that monitors also reported dueling protests where at least 50 people were apparently hurt.

He went on to tell the Council that as of today, at least one Ukrainian officer had reportedly been killed in the latest round of violence, but the exact number of those injured during the skirmishes was not known as of now.

When you have people saying Russia over and over and touting Russian flags what else are you going to call them? Did you even think about this before you said it?

The predominant language in Ukraine is Russian so expectations are high that Ukrainians do speak it. That doest mean "Russia is invading", either. What are you "touting"?

The bear can push back all they want. In the end the bear will be nothing but exhausted and defeated.

LOLOLOLOLOL!

No, really???

The level of Russophobia is staggering.

Just come out with it, say it, you hate Russians because they are Russians, and be done with it.

6000 replies claiming the "Russians are invading" don't make it true. In fact, they have shown remarkable restraint considering US and EU (NATO) subterfuge in their backyard.

By the way its NATO's sworn mission to repress Russia since its inception, or haven't you heard?

And 6000 replies claiming that "Russia is not invading" and "the US and EU are engaged in subterfuge" does not make those claims true, either. On the other hand, the Russian flag is flying over Ukraine. Sure looks like a Russian conquest.

Wrong. NATO's mission was to prevent the Soviet Union from invading its neighbors by force, or haven't you heard?

I believe that was the Soviet Union your referring to unless of course your saying Russia is the Soviet Union? As far as invading well they did already do you not get news where you live? Or is it you choose to ignore facts? As far as subterfuge so far the only subterfuge ive seen is Russia when they keep claiming those arent there troops only to be proved wrong. Or when they claim they dont have troops on the border to only have satellite photos come out showing otherwise. Or claiming that Ethnic Russians are fleeing and being killed only to discover the ones committing the violence are Russian sympathisers. We can keep going but at this point oonly the blind and Russian propagandists are the ones that cant see this is an invasion of eastern Ukaine starting the same way as it did in Crimea.

But proof that the Russian military has put troops on Ukrainian soil is as easy to find as looking up a social media profile.

On VKontakte, Russia's equivalent to Facebook, Sergei Maximov, a Russian special forces sniper, has been posting pictures of himself armed to the teeth next to civilians on the streets Crimea. The photos of Maximov, who was not in Crimea until recently according to his own social media profile, gives the lie to the idea that new Russian troops have not entered Ukraine.

Clink link for remainder of article.

What a pathetic, and i mean pathetic attempt at a lie, which is so transparent that you don't even have to read Russian to see it right away.

I can't believe people actually get payed to make this stuff up, this made up nonsensical crap they repeatedly call "facts" with out any repercussions, absolutely none.

It's this simple, take a fake, deleted page under name of Антон Грачёв (copy-paste), and make up a story for a page of some Russian dude named Сергей Максимов.

Do these names look similar to anybody even on the level of a THREE YEAR OLD CHILD?????

ATS members keep calling for civility on this forum, yet it's OK to post literally insulting DISINFORMATION time and time again.

So calling out liars for what they are is not civil, but keep lying is perfectly civil and just dandy.

When I was growing up, in our neighborhood you'd get beat up for lying, and you'd be known as a lier. I guess these days there is no such thing as lying, just stuff people say when it suits them. God damn degenerates.

I don't think Ukraine will pull a all out campaign to throw out the elements on the streets and capturing the buildings.

This would give Russia all reason to invade to protect Russian ethnic groups.

I bet this message has been delivered via secret channels to Junta in Kiev. There are lot more variables in play than the common folks on internet, cable tv know about.

The Soviet Union doesn't exist anymore, the Warsaw Pact is disbanded. The Russians left "Eastern Europe" a long time ago. A vacuum the west (NATO) has been occupying with IMF "loans" and missile "shields" ever since.

Just come out with it, say it, you hate Russians because they are Russians, and be done with it.

On the contrary... Just like my view on the Iranian people, I think the Russian people are awesome. The Russian government on the other hand, not so much.

Is there any chance you are going to quit to call me a racist?

and yet I notice nothing, no sources / papers / etc, to refute the information.

We also have the Russian soldier on youtube admitting he is Russian military while wearing the non insignia uniform in Crimea.

And now they are back. Ironically, Putin's actions have put Ukraine on the fast track to NATO membership.

and with the latest's actions by Russia its evident that NATO is still needed.

The warsaw pact collapsed by the way, not disbanded.

I want NATO to exist but at a buffer distance from Russia and not start placing missiles and other items at Russia from Central Europe etc. lNATO will keep Germany down and stop Russia from playing a drunk bear. I believe that is good for world peace.

Btw, can someone explain as to how would Federalism help solve the sentiments of S-E Ukraine people. How would Federalism in SE solve Russia's interests. Thanks.

Let me ask -

Why is it ok for you guys to demand NATO disband / stop their military cooperation in member nations? You guys complain about the missile system yet have no issues telling everyone else Russia can do what it wants in its own nation?

I don't see a difference so maybe someone can enlighten me.

To answer your federal question -
It would allow S and E Ukraine to go the same route as Crimea. Russian cannot use the same legal argument for South and East Ukraine because of the Ukrainian Constitution, which spells out referendums. Making it a Federal system allows the provinces / regions the ability to "leave" Ukraine and be on their own or ask to join Russia.

That demand by Russia (Federation setup) would allow them to "annex" or maintain "control" by affiliating with Russia. The Ukrainian constitution currently prevents the provinces from doing what Crimea did (they had their own constitution, or at least that's the argument Russia made). They cant make the same claim about South / East Ukraine.

It would also allow, in the referendums as a federation, the government of that region to control how the elections work. As we saw in Crimea, it would be rigged. A vote now requires all Ukrainians to vote for the action.
