In todays job market, their is no reason to tolerate a scumbag boss or sh!tty work situation. In my retail biz, I try to create an atmosphere of "family" with mutual respect. Tolerating abuse from a boss or customer isn't professional, it's cowardice.

Fortunately some places here are like that too. One cafe actually shut down for a day and gave their workers a paid day off because customers were being so awful!

You sound like an amazing person and boss and get it! Thank you, the world needs more of this!

I agree, and I love metal.
I hate it when a car pulls up next to me blaring crappy rap/pop as well. Especially when they drive around a parking lot , very slowly, and windows open

I can't even stand the local radio music played on the loudspeakers at my local Sonic drive in. I get my order and go to some quiet place where I can listen to my own radio.

"OMG, it's Blink-182, I love the Classic Rock channel"!
