Where are all of the Prince fans. Past and Present.

I have followed his music since I was about 10 years old and love it.

What are your thought and ideas ?

I liked the singles. I never liked his popular pop songs but when you bought the singles, you got maybe seven remixes which were 10 times better.

First album I ever bought with my own money was Purple Rain. Prince is awesome. He's a bit of an odd character but, he's still cool. What has happened to him lately? The last thing I heard was that he became (or was already) a J-Witness and is going door-to-door spreading the word. No Joke! I swear I saw a news article about this. Let me see if I can dig it up somewhere. Still love his music to this day.
Favorites list.
Purple Rain
Raspberry Beret (Around the world...)
Sign O' the Times (same album)
The Future (from Batman)
D.M.S.R. (1999)
Too many to list really....

I liked the album Paisley Park(?) the best and of course the movie Purple Rain-although he cannot act his way out of a paper bag
He writes some unique songs though

he was cool in the 80's however he started acting weird after doing Purple Rain, ok maybe it was before that. Did anyone notice his Video Rasberry Beret? There wasn't one in the entire Video. Just a quick observation. I dont know if he's Prince or the Artist or is he someone else now?

Man, the Rasberry Berret REMIX was the bomb! It was just TOO COOL! It was subtle but had a nice groove on the keyboards

Then, ther were all his proteges. I STILL REMEMBER LOVE BIZZARE from Shelia E. Me and my girl would get so nasty........................

in our Prince like outifts (puffy shirts for me; white tux jackets for her).

Definitely the 80's.

-Rush
-BonJovi

-Platinum Blonde

-Poison

-Lee Aaron

# there's so many of them really, it was a great time back when music was a still positive influence in the music industry.

I'm no huge fan, but I own this 3CD thing of him...Emancipation. Listen to it from time to time... a few good tunes. My dad bought it for 10 norwegian kroner(ca 1 euro)

3cd set. Emancipation, some of his best work.

He did a cover of " I can't make you love me "
(Bonnie Rait did the original, I think )

it's awesome, absolutely grand !!!!

I wasn't real impressed with his latest.. The Rainbow Children..

But I hear that theres a 4cd set coming of live performances.... Can't wait to get that one.
