Apparently Etsy is having some issues with deposits.

Looks like they have exposure to SVB. Not any metric mentioned however.

here are some of them. what is worrisome about this is that it is starting to spread among the companies in a huge industry, risking huge amounts of money and jobs. and just like in 2008, there could be more out there like this. this could be big, depending on how it is handled...

"At this time, Etsy has not provided a time frame for the funds to be deposited,"

"Etsy claims 7.5 million sellers worldwide. "

"One affected Etsy seller told NBC News the deposits delay would have a "catastrophic" effect on his business."

etsy is a big name.

Pinterest as well. Saw this morning they have 26% of their total cash assets at that bank.

Now it sounds like First Republic bank is in deep as well. Fed said they have their eyes on several other banks on the precipice and First Republic lost 52% of their value on Friday before finishing out the day devalued by 15%.

It is not looking good. i'll be keeping a close eye on whether these bank runs keep spreading. and if these businesses go down and jack the unemployment rate up, we will be seeing more mass exodus from California which will raise the housing prices even further. That is just one of the possible ripple effects...

It's coming now or later. This is only so they can transition to the digital dollar and do away with cash as much as possible. dont worry the big banks and investors will get bailed out and taxpayer put on the hook for losses. Lovely system they've established. works flawlessly for the financially well-endowed.

Hopefully the # merchants selling their # knockoffs.

Won't be so good for the honest ones though. Guess we'll see who has tight finances, where any delay in getting their money means the whole thing falls apart.

This issue is not widespread across other banks and has already been used as the catalyst to end all cryto except cbdc.
The legislation is in the works.
Keep watching
It was probably set up intentionally to do this, if I had to guess.
It's all too neat.
They are catching stuff buried in the fine print.

Amazon and Ebay are probably big enough that, even had they held money at SVB, they would probably be okay. I don't think they were on the list of investors that I saw. Probably this SVB collapse initially will hurt the smaller e-commerce companies and newer companies, such as Etsy, and in this way it may actually stomp out some of the competition vs Amazon and Ebay, and benefit them for a while, unless / until it all falls apart hah, IMHO

If other banks continue to go down though, all bets are off for everyone.

Exactly. Biden is outing their plans slowly by talking about CBDC's in real time.

It's going to be a shock like no other.
Buckle up, folks.

This just in:

www.cnn.com...

This is just one part of an obviously bigger problem. The bank runs are getting worse, and investors are running for cover.
and thanks to Mandroid7 for the vid. VERY enlightening.
