Well then help me out here could ya? What is so wildly insane?
Everything in the post is factual. It's all true. There is no fabrication. It's all real.
The only conjecture was phrased as conjecture. Why would Trump associate with them at all.

This is a cult that has been attempting to gain influence across the board in the USA for 60 years. In that time they have spent billions of dollars bribing and influencing American officials and poisoning the national dialogue in their attempt to establish a theocracy across the world based on Moon and his wife.

Yes. I agree that this is wildly insane. If you do not want to understand that the ex POTUS and controller of one of the two major political parties just endorsed the work of this cult, well, I would call THAT insane.

Again, a thoughtful reply.

So who is worse weird moonies, or anti american head chopping gay murdering woman burning jihadists in your eyes, just asking for a friend.

Do we have to choose between the two? Which will serve to the betterment of planet Earth over the hundred years. Neither of course. I don't understand the juxtaposition of the two. Paying attention to one and not the other. Paying attention to how one faction of US leadership is leading us down a path to destruction while ignoring indications that the other faction is doing the same thing. Pointing out the fraud of one does not mean an endorsement of the other. Or does it?

Bro did we watch the same video? He is willing to work with Kim when no one would even after threatening him he met Kim on his home soil which hasn't been done since when.. ? In fact he is willing to work with anyone interested in peace. Especially on the Korean peninsula.

A unified Korea would be a step in a positive direction for the whole world. Considering how badly china and us miffed it all up we should be especially concerned about helping to fix things as much as possible.

Read the art of the deal. Praise costs nothing and can gain many an advantage durring negotiations.

If you know trump you know everything is about making a deal. In this case he will praise mooninites and meet with dictators he just threatened on their own soil and walk away with their respect all as long as it means moving closer to closing the deal for peace on the Korean peninsula.

Trump is no moonie.
He is no russian agent
He isn't in anyone's pocket

He is willing to make deals for peace that benefit the world and has a proven track record. Look no further than his Israeli/arab peace deal with that no one thought could be done.

It's easy to miss after all the media refused to give it the attention it deserved.

Just because trump uses praise of positive asspects of his opponent to close a deal doesn't mean he is endorsing anything and he is always very clear about it.

He just kept saying how great their work on reunification of the Korean peninsula was. He also showed respect for their faith, that us bot only the christian thing to do but the human thing to do.

Heaven forbid jesus or Paul would sit with tax collecters.. oh wait they did. And didn't jesus himself say to love our enemies?

What better way to show love for those we find ourselves in opposition with than to honor their best qualities while searching for ways to work together on common goals.

If we had more deal makers like trump in this world, and less judgement of others ways of life from our leaders maybe this world would be a little more peaceful.

THIS. There is literally nothing else to be said.

Nice spin, bro.

He gave Fat Boy Kim exactly what he wanted. A sit down with the US President as equals. In return, he got squat. Think Neville Chamberlain.

The Middle East peace deal? It got one side of the panArab civil war to pretend to be nice to Israel in order to alienate the other side, all the while missing out the very people who provide the flashpoint. That does nothing but add to tension in the Middle East.

Heck, Trump didn't even write The Art of the Deal. It was written by a guy called Tony Schwartz who took the money knowing it was all bullsnip.

Still, as long as his fanbase is happy it will keep sending him money.

Squat? He got squat? Hmmm last I remember kim was threatening the us and our alies. After their meeting Kim stopped making threats.

Unlike every prior administration iteration that gave millions in aid to the regime in return for their broken promises trump exchanged his time.

Think about that every 5-10 years they raised their threats and we caved with aid it was a regular process until trump broke the chain by answering threat for threat while remaining open to genuine dialogue.

No spin needed just an elementary grasp of recent history regarding korea.

You dont get to choose that is my point. If you want peace you have to work with "all" the parties involved.

Durring ww2 it was hitler.

Durring the cold war it was the commies.

After the cold war it was dictators in south and central America farq in Columbia and the muslims in Iran.

Then we had to negotiate with Saddam after we armed him to fight iran.

Then we had a laundry list of small Non state sponsored terrorists such as al Qaeda, and isis to deal with.

The fact is there is no point in American history where we were not negotiating with those we vehemently disagreed with.

If we had been unwilling to negotiate with the likes of hitler, mao, stalin, the mullahs of Iran, farq in Columbia, the dictators of south and central America, Saddam Hussein, al Qaeda, and isis then we would still be at war with so many nations we would have no alies.

The point is obvious but you refuse to see it, so im left thinking this is intentional.

We can all agree peace is good and to have it we sometimes have to negotiate with unsavory characters it is just a fact of life and this is not unique to trump or the moonies, but you refuse to to see that.

Let me be as clear as possible, "all throughout the history of the United states we have had to deal with unsavory characters when seeking terms of peace and cooperation on common goals for the betterment of mankind."

Hell westward expansion was spurred on by a Christian cult started by a known con man named Joseph Smith not much different than thenmoonies who believed everyone was going to populate their own planet and jesus visited the new world in ancient times and that the native were a lost tribe of Israel who needed to be taught the gospel and brought to christ. We called it westward expansion, and manifest destiny.

In fact Hollywood today is pretty much run by a fanatical cult which believes we are possesed by aliens who came to earth on ships that looked like 747's and crashed in valcanos dispersing their souls across the earth where they eventually inhabited humans so we have to measure our thaten levels to know how infected we are by the bad alien spirits that posess us.

The history of our nation would not be complete if we never considered dealing with crack pots and mad men. Less tmyiu forgetvaccordingvto the catholic church and church of England the protestant pilgrims who settled this great land were a cult of religious extremists, and now we consider Quakers to be rather ho hum like thebahmish or mennonites. While in those days they were demonized by the church and forced to flee their home land to seek the freedom to worship god as hey saw fit.

We are a nation founded by what those in the world at the time called a religious cult of extremists.

So you either have no grasp of the history of the dealings of this great nation, or what I find to be more likely you know full well our history of working with crack pots and mad men, yet trump's willingness to do so is somehow abbhorant to you.

This couldn't possibly be tds could it?

Yep I think it's TDs. Sorry there is no cure for you until you evict him from your mind. As others have stated he is now a private citizen with no legal authority, so why all the fuss?
