BA Flight to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia cancelled after reports earlier that gave grounds for security fears.

No other details as of yet but things seem to be getting worse.

All these cancelled flights seem strange to me. Surely if there was a specifit terror threat to an aircraft then the passengers and aircraft could be checked and sent on it's was. There must be some kind of other threat, not just highjackings.

One of the concerns is a commercial jet or cargo jet being used as a "dirty bomb" over a target city. The concern being that the plane will be loaded with a dirty bomb which will then be detonated in mid-air over a large city.

I know at least one of the delayed/cancelled flights has been because of "luggage that did not go with any passenger".

So, this could be cargo concerns.

It seems they are acting on high grade intellengence and it points to a possible attack,i for one don't think this is the last flight to be cancelled.

Flight number relate to UN resolutions. Flight BA223 which relates directly to UN resolution 223 which regards Palastinian land right.

sorry no links just heard this on the radio.

It seems that not only did 9/11 cost the initial lives in the WTC catastrophe, it also cost the US a helluva lot of money, in lost revenues, clearup costs etc. but now is affecting airlines revenue too!

the knock on effect has added more damage financially and psychologically than the initial event alone.

What better way to start a new world order than through fear and control, and as the present white house incumbant hasn't the wherewithall to carry this out, it makes one wonder who is actually pull the strings.
