Hey everyone.

I found this a really interesting documentary, and an insightful look inside Liberia.

Thought I'd share.

Video was posted last summer HERE.

The title of that thread was something different as the author focused more on the "colorful" names of some of the participants so it's understandable that search would probably not have found it.

Charles Taylors goons from the mid 1990's.
Horrid, yet that stuff happens more than we would like to acknowledge during wartime.
Also horrid that our ancestors bone/fossil record, all over the world, has many human bones with knife marks and scrapes near the joints-meaning that at some time or other many of our ancestors were cannibals.
Maybe in times of ice age, drought or war...but all over the world.

We are not as civilized as we may try to appear I think.
Its a thin veil of civilization we have constructed for us in the west, yet in other dark tropical jungle regions, people still eat each other even today, and would eat you or I if we happened to stumble into their village.

Turn off the oil and electric for 2 weeks, and we would begin to head in that direction again in the western world.
Not nice to think about at all,but true I am sorry to say.

A chilling video, well worth the time.
I came away with a question of "Why be humans if we are going to act like animals?"
And the last poster was correct, there for the sake of a month or few goes us.
