The Birth of a Black Hole

Sorry if this is a re-post, but it appears that the watchers of the night sky finally got a jack pot. The RAPTOR telescopes, which look for unusual and interesting happenings in the night sky, apparently recorded an unusual event.

Scientists believe it could have been the actual formation of a black hole. The interesting part is that the whole event was captured. Normally with Gamma Ray bursts, you see the burst of Gammas and then you swing a telescope to look at it. Here the rise and fall were observed, which is a Scientific wonder.
