Bob, I've always thought Bob would be a cool name for a planet.

Much better than Ethel. not that I have anything against people named Ethel.

just saying...

This is just a huge bubble of gas or plasma eminating from the Sun. Amateur and professional astronomers would have seen such an anomaly months if not years before this if was a solid object.
This is as bad as Arken's paradeoila Mars post.

What happened to the intelligence and integrity of ATS?

If it's a friendly planet that means us no harm and sends no evil fire loving critters to kill us all, then the name is obvious. Rabbitus.

On the other hand, if it's a vicious sneak attack by other dimensional beings? Well, Fuddville is a logical choice.

Bob would be much better in my humble opinion of course.

The flip side, we could name it Merna, Gertrude and or Beatrice....

That dog in Your avatar looks just like My Weimaraner, Sherman. He is Weim #5. I also have a hermaphrodite Affens Pinscher named MagWai.

I have nothing to add to the thread and for that I apologize to the OP. I will now "self exile" to other confines of the intraweb.
