You're right .. just have it backwards. The US navy would blockade every Chinese port, and we would cause their population to revolt. They are surprisingly close to it right now.


Chinese people have a high opinion of their national government, and a low opinion of their local governments. They would not at all revolt in face of an external enemy.

It is true that US attack submarines would achieve naval superiority, even if US carrier groups could be successfully deterred to be out of range by missiles & aircraft.

A naval blockade of China is an economic lose-lose for almost everybody, but especially the wealthy who influence the US government the strongest. The self-interest of the capitalist class in the USA guarantees China's ascendancy.

Good observation, Corporations who control our government via lobbying would lose to much by a Chinese blockade.
