The Tea Party was right.

Why are these things in the Continuing resolution just passed?

abcnews.go.com...

Time to wake up people, the Tea Party is the Third Party you've been waiting for. Rand Paul a genuine Libertarian should be President in 2016, he'd fix a lot wrong with our country.

Little off topic, but I have to disagree. The Tea party is just as crazy as the far left or far right. It isn't the third party we've been waiting for. I'm indifferent to paties. I lol at some Tea party politics. They're no better then any other party we have. We need a party for the people. Not for a donkey or elephant. Not right or left. Not red or blue.

Eta: S&F for bringing this up though

Until you cut the 'strings' ( big business) that control the 'puppets' ( politicians) nothing will change.
As long as politicians receive such outrageous pay and benefits, our future will not change from our past.

Forget the parties for a minute, what the heck is this?

and more money for the Maritime Security Program, which allows the government to contract with commercial shippers and cargo vessels to support operations essential to national security along American coasts.

What do they need commercial shippers and cargo vessels for in regards to "security?" Maybe to ease shipping our dissident behinds to China to "pay off" some of our debt with cheap labor?
I mean they've been using cargo containers to ship people IN why not out too eh?

Rand Paul is a politician and a smoother one than his father. He played both sides of the fence during the shut down and let Cruz take all the heat. He voted against the new spending measure but, at the same time was silent on the nice bit of Pork his home state of Kentucky got in it.

It is in the CR because the CR is a FUNDING AND APPROPRIATIONS BILL.

This was a pending death benefit, but it has to be appropriated...so why shouldn't it have been in the CR?
