Lots of Meteors recently ... a few questions...

The are two major meteor showers in October. The Draconid meteor shower falls early in the month, followed by the Orionids a few weeks later.

I love driving outta city limits,to layi on the hood of my car and watching fireballs streak across the sky.
Very relaxing.

That's the right approach to this subject, they're an inspiring sight to see. I've seen quite few in my time but the best was a very bright green (a bollide I was told). Spent some nights in the outback that made for perfect viewing far away from any light pollution

My dad would take my sister and I out, and we would watch the showers when we were kids. Something that I still enjoy doing now that I'm older. I take friends, or I'll even go by myself. I don't care. It's pretty relaxing, and kinda a form of mediation for me when I go alone.

I saw a green one as well! This summer, down in the badlands with a group of friends. We all saw it streak across the sky. It was huge!! lasted at least a full second, maybe a little bit over.
