There are two seasons in Canada: Winter and road construction.
Northern Manitoba is full of grass snakes, but other than that I would not worry about ever seeing any.

Half of my family is from the US side, the other from the Canadian side. When I was a kid I distinctly recall my 2 elderly uncles beating the crap out of each other on my even older and meaner grandmothers porch swing at a family get-together. One Canadian and the other US.. and their good friend Jack Daniels.... over what war was worse : the Korea or Vietnam. This pretty much explains the relationship between the US and Canada... we the people of each truly love each other and would have each others back.... but boy howdy is it fun to knock the crap out of eachother for no good reason sometimes.

We Canadians are the funniest people in the world because on the one hand we're not sure who we really are, eh?, and on the other we sit atop the USA so we have to be funny whereby the basis of all good humor is a type of malice towards everything that is ignorant absurd and ridiculous, although I'm sorry to say it please don't take offense.
