30+ years at photography, a jet in the distance would be well defined a very small object traveling fast very close to the camera could produce blur now that blur may not be due to motion but a due to depth of field

If you look at the picture everything is in focus except that object. Whats more likely and out of focus insect or Mog from Zog on a day trip!!!

It's almost certainly something which was there when you took this photo.

Why are you magnifying photos of your child to look at the sky?

If I spent all day trying to catch darts between my eyelids, I won't be surprised if I eventually get blinded.

I did. I am. Twice. I'm a stick in the mud for bets.

I am clearly mentally ill. how are you?

I was resizing and cropping it to be my phones wallpaper when I first noticed it. I don't habitually scour over every photograph I take looking for things

Don't think it is a few things rule out a bird for me, the most common birds in the UK seen around housing estates from smallest to largest Sparrow,Starling,Blackbird,Magpie,Crow,Rook and Seagulls.

The object is only a few pixels across so is a very small object close to the camera or a larger object further away as the shutter speed is 1/904th of a second any of those birds would only travel a fraction of an inch during the shot if they were far enough away to look that size we would see a clear defined shape not what we see in the picture.

I still think an insect closer to the camera than the subject.
