A lot of people wonder where is the voice of the farmers in Fukushima. They are, and have been, speaking up for a while now. The problem is, nobody is listening to them. This video(which has full English translation) is from a negotiation between the Fukushima farmers and the Japanese government. I find this to contain very power words by the farmers to the government here in Japan. Those farmers are not playing anymore. They are mad that proper equipment and proper monitoring of radiation level in the rice fields have been provided to them.

Wow! That is a really high level to be attempting to grow anything on. No wonder the harvests are failing to pass radiation checks.

Yeah, I checked out that thread and it does have some useful stuff in it. Thanks for passing that along to me.
