I just had a thought and feel like sharing it. What if........What if the whole gun grab scare was just a cover so the government could buy up all the rounds and magazines without the average people catching on?



I notice you can buy AR-15 again but the ammo and the mags are still very hard to come by? Something seems very wrong this time around.

Personally I think the gun scheme goes back further. As in when the purposefully let other manufacturers start building them. For a long period of time you had only a few operations making these rifles. Keeping the price through the roof. I remember a raggedy bushmaster being over a grand around 20 years ago. Now inflation has risen. Obviously. So if competition didn't increased it goes to say that same gun should be over 2k easily. Now or more over before the gun grab scare the prices had got low enough to pic up a mil-spec rifle for 650-700. Now during this time the government has bought up a ton of these rifles and rounds.

This article has what the government saved by doing this. They picked up these rifles at 673 dollars each vs 1200.
It's business. The people who picked up guns during this time was just taking advantage of the military's needs. That said: the government got what they needed. And now they want to put a lid back on the can of worms they opened up.
You can take that how you want. Either they were prepping that far ahead or they just wanted to save some money.

I'd have to say there's a 90% chance of something "super-dramatic" happening by November 1st, and a 100% chance of something "super-dramatic" happening by January 1st
