German found in Rio Linda with weapons, bombs, cell phone detonators, 4 passports, Meth and $33,000 in cash.

Either this guy was hired to do something bad by somebody, or he had plans to blow town as soon as he'd done whatever he had planned for his own reasons.

What's your take on this one ATS?

In at least one report the property owner says;

The owner of the property, Lad Wentzel, told News10 he did not live there himself, but he had been increasingly suspicious of Koertel, who worked for him and whom Wentzel had allowed to use the property for storage.
www.news10.net...
Then in this report he says;

"He's not a terrorist. He wasn't going to shoot anybody and he wasn't violent. He was just an overgrown teenager," he continued.

I think the most damning evidence is the cell phone detonator, bad stuff.
Andreas Koertel

Questions.

Was he discovered by the NSA bugging everyone?

Or was he found by more conventional means?

And if he wasn't found by the NSA, then what the hell are they doing about our "safety"?

He was stopped by a sheriff for his driving, weapons and meth were found and the sheriff's dept. contacted the one in Rio Linda, who went to look into this guy's living situation. So, no NSA involvement.

***Humor Alert***
Those are kind of silly questions though, since the NSA doesn't spy on non-citizens, they only spy on citizens.

If he had no intentions of harming someone why did he have a remote detonater ? That's not something people generally have for recreational purposes. I would be more worried about how he obtained that nasty bit of kit.
