I'm sure many of you have heard about this girl on the news.

Link

What I want to ask is this...

Does anyone else have a feeling something is not right with this girl?

I can't exactly put my finger on it, but it's just there.

It's almost as if she was evil or possessed. Perhaps even brainwashed.

Just looking at her creeps me out. I think it has to do with her energy.

To me she's just another tool of the elite. To help control the young and poor in the region.

Am I the only one here or are others seeing the same thing?

P.S. I apologize in advance if someone finds this post offensive. I'm not trying to insult anyone, merely asking a question.

Yeah she was shot in the head .

I'd say she's probably the least brainwashed 16 year old girl I've seen and definitely the bravest .

Am I the only one here or are others seeing the same thing?

Hopefully your the only one

No, it's only you. I cannot see anything evil about her. Personally I feel she'll grow to be a great women in the future.

By ensuring that the young and poor in the region are afforded the opportunity to get an education one would think she is trying to break the control not help the control.

Am I missing something?

I have looked at several photos of her...and I do not get the evil vibe at all...in fact I feel the opposite...that she is a good person who has been through a very tough experience.

If you mean lack of facial expressions, its very common with head injuries.

I don`t see or feel any evil vibes lookin at her. I think she is a very brave girl and wish her all the best on her battle of eduacational rights. I hope she will be successful and have positive domino effect in middle east.

Well, I don't think she's "evil", but I do think that the whole thing is total bull# and hypocrisy.

For one thing, she could have been killed by one of "our" drones, as hundreds of non-combatants have been, including, yes, school children. Do you think we'd have ever even heard her name? Of course not...

This blog has written a few articles about the whole thing. He is of the opinion that she is being used to push the for-profit school system.

So, yes, to force them to accept, embrace even, the for-profit school system that is supposedly for their benefit, but is in the same vein as IMF loans that end up crippling the poorest people it is purporting to help.

I would have to respectfully disagree. She is not tool for the elite. Also what does "for profit school" mean? I can understand about the drone bombings killing innocent people, but I feel you're wrong about Malala.

Well, as I understand it, like the IMF loans, like every other thing the UN has it's dirty little fingers in, that sounds all warm and fuzzy when they explain it to us - the people it is supposed to be helping will most likely continue to live in poverty, and increased poverty, as they will be stuck with the bills (millions? billions?) for these schools that "we" warm and fuzzy'd them with. Haha, cause we're doing such a stellar job with our own education system, haha.
And of course, crooked people with their crooked fingers in all those UN pies will make out like bandits, as they always do.

From the blog above:

...privatizing public education on a global scale for corporate investors...
...What Khan’s school is about is the same thing that the Global Business Coalition for Education is about; making money while appearing to perform an humanitarian service. But that’s not all that it’s about. In the New World Order, it’s not enough to simply bomb and or black bag and disappear your detractors. Dissidents will not want to live under the new neoliberal rule and will have to be removed… that is… the older ones. What better way to ensure that there will be no opposition to your “new economies” than to teach all the kids in the world that it’s the only way the world works? That’s what this global education push is all about.

Alright! Well, that was random. What I got out of that was that it was a random rant that really didn't tell me anything. I don't know what the author is trying to say because he talks is confusing and that it could have been explained better. Thanks for replying though. I still disagree with you.

Oops, I forgot to put the link of where I got that from:

"The Staged Malala Yousafzai Story: Global Rightthink – The One World Education Model"

willyloman.wordpress.com...

To me, this is similar to the health care debate in the U.S. When you first hear about it, especially being in Canada, where we have free health care, you think "Why would anyone be against that?!"
But when you start finding out about what it actually entails, it is not what it appears to be, and the people who are against it have very valid points. There is a reason the insurance companies are behind it, and that's because they will make out like bandits. They'll be like the casino, the house always wins. That's not even going into the forced aspect of it, or the fact that it causes division because I don't want to pay for your obesity and you don't want to pay for my smoking, and the vegan down the street doesn't want to pay for either of us.
Anyway, blah blah blah, I thought his points were pretty obvious, not random or hard to follow, but maybe that's just me. I suppose this post is kind of random and hard to follow....haha

I understand where you're coming from. I recall reading about the complains about the Canadian health care system years ago. Where they would have to wait a long time for surgery. Forgive me if my memory is fuzzy. I don't remember where i read this and I only remember the article mentioning the system wasn't perfect.

I just wish everything was organized and efficient. However, that is easier said than done.

I guess a beautiful intelligent adult woman might be your worst nightmare. That's why Taliban and people like them go after female children, burn schools etc. In a word, fear.
