Cloud rapidly changing shape

I wasn't sure which forum to post this in so because it's clouds it seemed reasonable to post here.

This is definitely one of the stranger phenomenon I've seen.

I read the comments and two people seem to think it could have been faked.

...droplet on a clean glass !

It does remind me of a club lighting effect from the 60s achieved by placing liquid between two pieces of colored glass.
Is this a rare but natural phenomenon? If so what could cause this?

Or is it CGI etc.?

No, that can't be right...bats are nocturnal.....

Its an old video seen that before here don't know what thread or the conclusion for that matter

Pretty cool. I am sure there is some kind of explanation for it. If real then that would have been something to see in person!

I looked at cloud videos for about 15 minutes on this site before I posted this one. I couldn't find it.

As far as I can tell it is only 4 days old, but I could be wrong.

The answer lies in this: ice crystals, especially long needles, tend to become aligned with the ambient electric field. So what you are seeing is sunlight reflecting off ice crystal faces that are constantly being oriented by the developing electric field just above the [cumulonimbus] top. Then there is a discharge in the cloud, and the field collapses momentarily, and the crystals begin to realign again. Then this just keeps happening over and over.

Strange enough to wounded, first thought is fake, second is there's strange things going on in the world these days. Maybe some reflection of a weather balloon is all it is, who knows.
