This is going to upset quite a few people mainly because it's true.

He argues Democrats relentlessly push an agenda intended to exert control over blacks, not lift them out of poverty.

From what I have seen this is true the Democrats do relentlesty push an agenda of control over everyone.

Not a single thing Democrats have done creates self reliance

He went on: “You see, at the heart of liberalism, is the idea that only a great and powerful big Government can be the benefactor of social justice for all Americans
.

This is also true that is the heart of what people call liberalism today where they attack anything, and everyone that gets in the way of that.

Be it the financial industry, banking, corporations, and the church.

ThIs is also true:

But the left is only concerned with one thing: control. And they disguise this control as charity.”

Also true.

Guillory claimed entitlement programs like welfare and food stamps were never designed to “lift black Americans out of poverty,” but rather to control them

Absolutely true everything government does is about control

Money, guns,NSA spying, and the list goes on.and they are currently working on the new slave class via the immigration bill, and gang of eight.

People do need to get off the government plantation until they do we will never know true freedom, and that true freedom is telling government to go to hell.

S ource

That is my opinion others will vary, and for the record there are clear differences between the D's and R's.

Thanks for posting this - I really enjoyed watching it! Although, if he truly believes most of the points he's making, he might soon be jumping ship from the republican party to the libertarian party!

The Republicans and Democrats give more money to Corporate America than to the impoverished. He doesn't care about the poor, it is a calculated decision that someone other than himself made to try to redistribute the power of the base of the Big Two political parties. If one or the other gets too popular, it risks upsetting the balance and a third can slip in.

He's just playing his part.

I am so sick that BULL crap.

Taking from a minority to pay for the whims of a majority so they can go out and buy corporate products that does nothing but create a dependency based society is unstainable as already evident by the national debt at 17 trillion and the trillions spend on the programs that are nothing but about control.

Is utter nonsense,

The American republic has endured for well over two centuries, but over the past 50 years, the apparatus of American governance has undergone a radical transformation. In some basic respects—its scale, its preoccupations, even many of its purposes—the U.S. government today would be scarcely recognizable to Franklin D. Roosevelt, much less to Abraham Lincoln or Thomas Jefferson.

In 2010 alone, government at all levels oversaw a transfer of over $2.2 trillion in money, goods and services. The burden of these entitlements came to slightly more than $7,200 for every person in America. Scaled against a notional family of four, the average entitlements burden for that year alone approached $29,000.

online.wsj.com...

The only master's I see are those Government masters exploiting, and controlling both people and business for their own political power.

Only see 1 party telling me corporate products are 'human rights' and force me to buy them,

Then again 1 side created the federal reserve that CONTROLS then entire financial system in this country

Then again that same pary that says business 'can't be trusted' so they need more laws controlling them.

That same party once again that says people 'can be trusted' with their guns so they created thousands of laws banning them and limiting them;

That same party also created Social Security,Medicare, and Medicaid, and the current student loan debt that accounts for 1 trillion dollars, that cut out the middle men.

That same party also created Fanny, and Freddy that has over 6 trillion in combined assets that control over 95% of all US mortgages;.

So both parties are to blame?

The Party Elbert is talking about has a clear historical agenda of control.

Started by who?

The next year, months before the Oklahoma City bombing took place, Biden introduced another bill called the Omnibus Counterterrorism Act of 1995. It previewed the 2001 Patriot Act by allowing secret evidence to be used in prosecutions, expanding the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act and wiretap laws, creating a new federal crime of "terrorism" that could be invoked based on political beliefs, permitting the U.S. military to be used in civilian law enforcement, and allowing permanent detection of non-U.S. citizens without judicial review. The Center for National Security Studies said the bill would erode "constitutional and statutory due process protections" and would "authorize the Justice Department to pick and choose crimes to investigate and prosecute based on political beliefs and association

That rotten Democratic party didn't stop it but expanded it.

Who started Libya, then went off to Syria where more people have died?

Who has droned more people than were ever at a 'torture camp'. ?

Then of course there is this from the democratic leader:

Rather childish with the 'who started' it crap it is about who is currently in charge of 2/3's of government

As to medicare that automatically gets deducted from a SS check that can't pay for itself that has to be funded by others not using it, and introducing new people to pay for the difference.

Social Security,Medicare is a scam because the people get more beneifts than they pay in. The difference is made up by taking cash from others.

As for medicad and medicare? Yeah cant have poor elderly people and children getting help can we!

Throwing someone else's money at them doesn't mean you care.

You need to educate yourself. You don't seem to understand that terms like Social Welfare and Corporate Welfare are terms with universally accepted definitions.

So what?

The Democrats threw Japanese in interment camps. But That R who started release more than the current guy.

But then again instead of sending them to a camp just kills them instead.

Bother reading that link about who brought the ominubs terrorism act?

Guess not.

Maybe the democrates are more rotten but the republicans are still rotten too!

No maybe's about it the Democrats are rotten to their core who done far more damage to this country than the R's.

People love to say they are the same as a deflection.
