New virus threat to entire world

Just read an article on CNN about the coronavirus being a threat to the entire world.

Maybe a bit over zealous or eccentric. Wanted to share it with you all and let you decide.

ATS generally encourages it's users to stick all relevant info in the same thread so that anybody wanting to find more can then find it all in one place

Its not a "threat to the planet" even. Any more than the common cold.

So from what I've learned from the game Plague Inc. is that humanity will survive in a 50% virus infected kill rate. Even if the infectivity is extremely high.

What this virus has done is mutated the easier land transmission bonus, and the air transmission bonus.

We have to upgrade our airplanes with better air filters just so that if the guy playing up stairs wants to kill us, he's going to have to get the air transmission 2 upgrade.

France reported its first death from the new SARS-like coronavirus on Tuesday and Saudi Arabia, where the virus first emerged last year, said there were five new cases.
