I for one could care less about how you feel.

If you are not a democrat before you are twenty...there is something wrong with your heart;
If you are still a democrat after thirty...there is something wrong with your head.

Gasoline is actually pretty stable, it's not even flammable. How ever the vapors it gives off on the other hand is quite the opposite.

You should probably stop typing before you make yourself look stupider than you just did...You actually just typed that gasoline is not FLAMMABLE!!!!!!

LOL!!!!!!!

Jaden

Jaden , sorry buddy, if you can still edit your comment you should.
Gasoline vapors are flammable, gasoline in a liquid state is not.
You are the one who needs to stop typing......

This is crazy. At the very least, if you have passed background checks to buy a gun, and you have a license/permit whatever (I don't own a gun so not clear on the jargon) you should be given the ability to reload your ammo.

Why are they calling it manufacturing when, in reality, you are reconditioning the bullet to working order. I don't need permits to change out my windows on my home that I own, provided I am reconditioning it or replacing it with an exact size and do not change the opening size in the framing. Here, you OWN a gun and are simply restoring the bullets. You already had the powder in the bullets to begin with, you're just replacing it.

What's worse is the background checks are probably going to be required with every purchase, so say you buy supplies and then a year down the road, you go see a psychiatrist or something or a dr about depression. They check medical records (Once the gov't provides you the medical services, they may have access to things) they find out you are on depression meds.... supplies DENIED. Then, the fun stuff, they come knocking for your guns and take them pending an evaluation of some sort.....

That seems like where it's headed... STOCK UP NOW!!!!!

So you have the right to bear arms but not to fire them????

The reason they would want a background check is that same smokeless powder if placed in a pipe or other vessel in large quantity would produce a large explosive device. A 500g, can of smokeless powder can pack quite the punch, think of the miniscule amount you put in a 30-06 in comparison to that tin.

It poses a risk to the public. Granted it hasn't been used yet in an attack, but it's the fear that it could. Same with fireworks, same with black powder for you muzzle loaders out there.

I don't agree with these laws, but they are in the process of becoming a reality.

it sounds like I need to get so more powder fast!! they will not get what I already have. this is a very sad state if it passes. the more freedoms they try to take away from us, the more tyrannical they are. time to wake up the sleeping sheep!!

You would be surprised.

Packed into a container smokeless powder is no more explosive then black powder.

Its all in the "rupture point" of the container. NOT the speed of the powder.

This is true unless you used a blasting cap to detonate one of only a couple grades of smokeless powder.
I will not name the grades here because they can be used as a booster for high explosive like ANFO.

black powder can and has been used for blasting but smokeless powder is worthless for blasting because as soon as the rock brakes the burning rate of smokeless powder slows way down below supersonic.
The maximum pressures developed by deflagrations are often limited by the failure pressure of the surrounding structure

Detonations, on the other hand, tend to shatter, pulverize and splinter nearby materials with fragments propelled away at a very high speeds. There is no time to move and relieve pressure so damage tends to be much more localized (seated) in the vicinity of the explosive charge (and its initiator) than a deflagration Detonations, on the other hand, tend to shatter, pulverize and splinter nearby materials with fragments propelled away at a very high speeds. Black powder and smokeless are not explosives by this as they deflagrate not Detonate when not confined.

I can turn a aluminum diving tank into a long delay bomb(months or years) just by adding a spoon full of mercury to the tank before filling.

Restricting black powder and smokeless powder will not stop one bombing and may make any bombing worse because the bombers may use high explosives instead of black powder and smokeless powder.

ven match heads could be use as a replacement for black powder and smokeless powder to build a bomb.

What next a ban on matches.

I contest both notions as I have yet to see evidence that either groups you listed are capable of thinking, let alone feeling any form of emotion aside from petty narcissism.

P.S

Both Conservatives and Liberals hate the Constitution and love leftism. It is on social issues that they disagree and only use the context of the Constitution and rule of law to try and claim the moral high ground.

I reject the Fabian Socialist political scale and view the more left you go, the more authoritative a society is, the more right the less authoritative. That is why the most extreme elements of the right wing are survivalists and the extreme elements of the left are often Marxists.

So, how did the Marathon Bombers get those fireworks? They are illegal in Massachusetts, you know....in all forms. So, they went were they were legal, bought them, and transported them (illegally) into the state of Massachusetts. SO, it seems the laws did NOT stop them from doing this horrendous act.

Perhaps it's because a criminal will NEVER follow the law? SO, making new or more strict laws will stop who from breaking them????

This will not stop future bombings. These people that we call our leaders are dumb

It isn't about stopping future bombings. This legislation is about preventing law-abiding citizens from making their own ammo.

And Printing their own Gun on a 3D printer, then making their own ammo for it, without background check even for the gun.

It's a slippery slope with that one... To be honest the scariest thing is not the ability to make a working stand alone single shot pistol with a printer....

You can also print AR-15 lower receivers... you don't need a background check for any other part of an AR-15 except for the lower receiver..... Heck you can have an entire kit minus the lower sent right to your door step.

So AR-15 with no background check...

single shot pistol doesn't sound so scary now does it

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Taking away a responsible gun owners ability to produce their own ammo... Now that is a much more slippery slope than the 3d printer issue will ever be.
