After reading all the bad news, WW3 doom porn, end on Times threads. Endless threads on our demise, or economic collapse. I thought to myself that I would like to hear some good news. Maybe it is even time for a forum for good news ?

With the lack of a proper forum, I am asking members to look for some good news in the world today, and post some of it.

Here is a couple stories I ran across.

Man scales burning building TWICE to save girl.

Teenage daughters lift tractor off dad on 7th try.

An Oregon man says his teenage daughters saved his life last weekend after they somehow lifted a 3,000-pound tractor off him after his boot slipped off the tractor's clutch and flipped

Anyone else hear any good news? I for one would welcome some.

DHS is starting a Scottish band!

oh wait, they cancelled the order =[

Not sure how good of news this is , but scientists speaking out against the governments suppressing findings and exposing the government for what they are and how they do business is always a good thing

Football FINALY gets goal-line technology

BBC Sport

The Premier League has voted to introduce goal-line technology from the 2013-14 season. British-based Hawk-Eye has been awarded the contract to provide the system. Hawk-Eye uses seven cameras per goal to detect the ball and claims its system is "millimetre accurate, ensuring no broadcast replays could disprove the decision". The Football Association will install a system at Wembley Stadium in time for August's Community Shield.

When I get down I like to go back to a thread on Reddit.

www.reddit.com...

It is a series of people telling the "Happiest fact they know". It might just be one of the best things on the internet.

Have a good day everyone!

Thanks guys.

It makes me happy to be able to pass that little gem on. Try it. Its fun!

This is one of my favorites ...

A few years ago, Voyager 1 crossed the termination shock, 8 billion miles away. Voyager, in case it's ever encountered by extra-terrestrials, is carrying photos of life on Earth, greetings in 55 languages and a collection of music from Gregorian chants to Chuck Berry. Including "Dark Was The Night, Cold Was The Ground" by '20s bluesman Blind Willie Johnson, whose stepmother blinded him when he was seven by throwing lye in is his eyes after his father had beat her for being with another man. He died, penniless, of pneumonia after sleeping bundled in wet newspapers in the ruins of his house that burned down.
