This makes for reason number 1,000,000,000,000,001 to NEVER EVER give any business to Walmart.

There is NOTHING good about Walmart. They have managed to fall to a new record low with this one.
Didnt know that it was even possible for them to get any lower than they already were.

right. because a pedophile is going to develop illegal nude photos at walmart instead of just using a digital camera and printer.

400 pictures, maybe they forgot those were on there. I don't know, I don't care, I feel the process was followed people cared about kids that is a good thing.

Why are you reading some sort of sexuality into parents taking pictures of their children in the bath?

Nice, blame the whole chain for employees trying to do the right thing. What a sad world we live in.

"MAYBE"

"maybe they forgot those were on there"

Pure speculation.

The parents were proven innocents , but not before being registered as sex offenders.

I don't know, I don't care

You dont know, then stop speculating, and stop trying to put some weird sexual behaviors over the parents head.

I'm not, but you are.

Why? Pictures of them with their clothes on isn't good enough?

This is the only thing that you have said that I will agree with, but for very different reasons.

Apparently, to you, nudity is automatically associated to sexuality, you are apparently the one sexuallizing it.
but i can be wrong.

I have a number of photos of my child naked in the bath. Thank god I didn't get them developed at Walmart.

Answer the question.

I just can not believe the idiocy of some people regarding this event. There is absolutely nothing wrong with naked baby pics. Well, besides the embarrassment later on in life. My mom has photos of me naked, laying in my crib with my butt showing. Am I embarrassed every time I saw those photos?? Hell yes! That's my naked butt! But I can understand why they would do it.

As children, we're cute, adorable, innocent. People love taking photos of cute things. Whether you agree or not, most people find their babies bottoms cute, so photos get taken. Practically every parent does it. Some have even told me it's "blackmail material" for when their kids are older.

The viewpoint of some of you people defending the WM employees is ridiculous. I'm sorry, I can't help but see it any other way. You are so full of fear of the bad pedo's in the world, that you feel it's ok to put an innocent family through some very harsh times, all in the name of child safety. Yes, the pervs out there are bad, and in a perfect world, they wouldn't exist. But just because they do, doesn't mean nice people need to be harmed in the name of "child safety".

One thing I don't understand, is how you can continually say that the employees were in the right, because the photos shocked them. From everything I've read, the JUDGE stated there was nothing wrong with them. The person who has the true final say in our legal system said NOTHING was wrong with said photos. He's seen them all. Stop with this "Have you seen the photos!?" crap. The Judge saw them. He saw nothing wrong. That right there tells me those employees blew things out of proportion.

So should I be locked up, because I happened to see my 3yo niece naked?? When I first moved back near family, I heard her call my name behind me, and when I turned, she was standing there naked(just out of the bath), giggling like she was crazy, then ran away down the hallway into my mom's room. Or what about my mom?? During that same time, she chased my niece around the house yelling "I'm gonna pinch that butt!!!", and when she got her, she pinched her butt over and over. My niece was laughing her ass off. So does that make my mom a sexual molester??

The thing that saddens me the most is that kids are innocent. That's the beauty of being a child. But thanks to these over-paranoid people who's heads are in the gutter, these children lost a little of their innocence. For no reason, except people full of fear, working in the name of "child safety". These kids were removed from their parents, and at their age, there's no guarantee that they even understand why. Who knows what these poor kids were told about their parents as well. Ontop of that, think about the trauma of having to have their genitals examined, just to prove the parents were innocent. So these children had to lose some childhood innocence, all in the name of "child safety".

I have a very good knack of being able to see both sides of practically every situation. But when I try to feel both sides here, I can't. In fact, my empathy kicks in, and I feel bad for the family. I feel the worst for the children. I've grown up around children practically my whole life, and I know how much of an impact certain things can have on a child's psyche. I understand the harm that true sexual predators can cause on a child's psyche, so I can understand the paranoia when it comes to children. But you also have to understand the harm that can happen when huge misunderstandings such as this occur. This is just as traumatic to the children. Those that feel it was perfectly fine to harm these children, all in the name of "child safety", you disgust me.

There are much better ways this could have been handled. They harmed the children, all so they could protect the children from harm.

I don't have to speculate the people who did their job were the ones making the decisions. if you worked for child protective services and saw what they did and do every day maybe you would feel differently!

The kids are not babies.

How do you know the kids did not play and enjoy the time away from their parents, how do you know how traumatizing it was.

Like someone said in the thread, because it represent the innocence of your kids, they're cute, nothing sexual.
If you can find anything sexual in it, then you have a problem.

Stunning that only a couple of people here will walk in the victim's shoes, see the situation from another perspective.

You're part of the problem.

To clarify, victims being child victims in thousands of cases.
