Great and lucky day the 109th day on Mars for the NASA Rover. Dozens of anomalies came up from the Ancient Dry Lake of Gale Crater. As for my last thread Fossilized Spines and Vertebrae of Big Creatures in Curiosity Sol 109!, even for this, Paleontologist need! Different locations, but same kind of anomalies: FOSSILS! There were some kind of gigantic acquatic creatures that, times ago, swam in that lake? NASA/JPL has detected these anomalies? These images came from Sol 109, 141, 64 and show, like in an ancient photography, the moment in which a luxuriant and terrible fauna it teemed those slimy waters. And "something strange" rise to the horizon...

Alligator Skeleton
mars.jpl.nasa.gov...

Compare with Sarcosuchus Imperator Skeleton (Smithsonian Museum)

Fossilized skulls

Compare

Saur/Alligator Skull
mars.jpl.nasa.gov...

Compare with alligator/crock skull

Other carcass

Jaw

Fish head

And a strange, big "W" and a Leonine head on the horizon...

Good work. It's plain to see that fossils are fossils. But you should understand that there are a lot of people employed here just to say it ain't so. But it's there to see nonetheless.

I really appreciate you enthusiasm. And I'm glad you want to believe.
But rocks are only rocks. They are not fossils just because you believe them to be so, or because you think they look like something.

Unless Mt. Rushmore really is the burial site for the 4 giants we had as presidents here in America?

You apparantly dont know what a fossil is. they look like rock, feel like rock, and in many cases actually are rocks... but rocks with imprints or hardened bone....

Good imagination buddy but what i saw is only rocks, rocks and rocks..Just accept the fact that do u think NASA will show u if they snapped the real fossil pitcures ? Of course not..They only will give u some rock pitcures to play with..

Beat me to it! A dino bone isnt actually the bone, its the minerals soaked into the bone as the bone decays. So yes, it is in fact a rock where a BODY once layed.
Information is power and us pawns are to unimportant to be let in on all the exciting findings, we just have to foot the bill.

I can't understand why those who constantly make comments criticising posts like this along the lines of "just rocks" etc. even bother. They may well be just rocks, but the whole point of websites such as ATS is to present POSSIBILITIES that mainstream science/media/establishments would not. If you are waiting for a "Smoking gun" image, then wait for the science/media/establishments to present them to you. Don't waste our time and fill up our forums with auto-debunking preconceived idealism; just unsubscribe. If you maintain interest in other topics here but don't have anything worth saying on a particular topic, then don't say it!
As far as I am concerned, these images and the comparisons drawn are interesting regardless of whether they are correct. If NASA had the same attitude as the detractors NOTHING would ever be investigated....Hmmm, come to think of it, do any of you guys work for the NSA by any chance?

Actually.. yea I do at least. Reason being they need funding. Popular opinion would dramatically improve for NASA if they find something credible. Meaning government would be pretty much forced into giving more of the money to NASA. Even if they aren't "allowed" to let anything go if they do and they managed to debunk the debunkers it would end in them having more of a chunk of that tax payer money.

I just cant understand why they don't take closer looks at these (Unless they do but cover that up as well). Lets face it theres plenty of anomalies to take a closer look of. And im sure there may well be some we have not seen due to not being published.. Your onto something though

Thank you, TheDoctor46.

I think that NASA "make the dumb"... and "The Agency" already know what lies on Martian surface.
They already knows, and not only this...
The "things", up there, are worst than we can imagine ...

WOuld you please elaborate on that, Arken? You just got me hooked up now.

I really don't get the nasa hiding mars life conspiracy.

It makes no sense, it would be the greatest thing for Nasa if they found proof of life on mar, in a moment they would find their budget blown through the roof.

Hell when they do find life im going to be skeptical because its too perfect for them, suddenly nasa would be relevant again.

Might kick off a second space race.

I do not want to be sarcastic or something but.... do you have any idea how secretive, corrupt and backwards your US government is? It should not be a surprise if NASA is hiding "stuff" from the world because they want to be the first to profit from obtained knowledge..... for national security reasons ..of course.

And then there is the information in the Brookings raport ..... of course..... Found HERE

Before posting these, take more time to -examine- them carefully. Just because a rock has the rudimentary shape of something you are familiar with doesn't make it so. A skull for example - you post it because it has the general shape. But if you were to carefully examine the head, you'd see teeth and ridges and eye-holes that are just.. off. Non-symmetrical skulls, etc. Overlarge teeth... bone shapes that have odd lumps, etc.. something you never see on actual skeletons. Look very carefully at the details of each thing, not the general shape.

I also find it amusing that these things have shapes you match up to Terran critters. You do realize if these were creatures on another planet, due to temperature, gravity, atmosphere, etc., they would probably be completely different than anything we are used to here on Earth? You may be literally pointing as you did to what you think is an alligator head, while the real odd blob to the right is the ACTUAL alien creature. Because in reality, what you are looking for is probably nothing you would recognize. Heck.. it might be there.. but you are not seeing it, because you don't recognize it. I appreciate your enthusiasm, but I feel you are just off on all of these. You are seeing what you want to see, basing it on Terran forms you are familial with.

Love your work, Arken. Looks fine to me. I have always imagined the sun blowing bubbles (planets) and the only habitable planet to enable life is in earths position. Thousands of years from now maybe Venus will be in position and then Mercury and so forth the birth of new planets.

Thanks for your post and kind words.

The interesting question is - if we find life on Mars - will we leave it alone?

We are already making this, right now, and from years. And it is mandatory.

The last two cases (the "fish head" and the "W") are different from the other cases, as they look too small to get a real idea of their shape.

Could you please post those images at their real size, that would help to get an idea if we are looking at the real image or at the result of the resizing/resampling algorithm.

Thanks in advance.

As an ATS Staff Member, I will not moderate in threads such as this where I have participated as a member.

Hi ArMaP,
You can find these

here www.gigapan.com...#

And these

here mars.jpl.nasa.gov...

Do your best, and let me know your results!

Unlike majority of people I cannot say with any definitive response that you have found either rocks or bones.
No one can say and anyone saying its one thing or another is a fool!

I think personally that there is something on Mars, be it a destroyed civilization or skeletons of past creatures.

Yes, some of the photos you've shown are very interesting, strange looking shapes, odd angles, straight lines and perfect curves that surely nature couldn't create all on its own.. but im also sure majority of them are rocks that just look like something, maybe through weather or heat or what ever.

But I'd be willing to guess in at least some of the photos, you've found something and you don't even know it... yet!

Keep em coming! I love the pics.

you state it as fact, when in reality its your interpretation of what you see, change the title and send this to grey area what a joke.
got me all excited over pareidolia!
although there is a striking resemblance i must admit the title is just misleading .

as said earlier, why compare to earth bones - why would martian fauna even vaguely resemble that of earth?

and actually look at the Sarcosuchus Imperator Skeleton - how thin are those bones? compare it to the photo from mars, there is no resemlance, except to a protruding shelf of eroded rock.

sorry but it's getting silly

It's just rocks. You can look for and find any shape you want, anywhere you want if you look hard enough.

If you cross the line of believing that similar shapes ARE the real thing, you need help.

There's a name for it, it begins with P.. but I forget what it is.

Awesome. I don't see a lot of rocks on earth in one single photograph of a random area that look so much like fossils. But who knows, maybe mars wind and the water it once had is special... Maybe it has a more vivid imagination than earth wind and water. Or maybe, maybe... Just maybe... Since mars is so desolate, mother nature got really bored and tried to carve out some company from the landscape... Yeah, I bet that's it.
