I thought about posting this story yesterday. The Country Club Plaza is a high-brow luxury shopping district, the first one EVER BUILT in the US!! J C Nichols was it's designer. It's beautiful with Spanish Architecture, ritzy restaurants, expensive stores. The restaurant, JJ's, is (was ) a very popular restaurant, a one-off.

They did find one charred body yesterday. Scary stuff. Apparently there was a smaller explosion outside where the crew were working on a gas line...
people had smelled natural gas all afternoon, very strong odor, and when the workers ruptured one, a preliminary combust happened, and they entered the nearby buildings, including the restaurant, and said, "We suggest you leave."

Then, KABLOOIE!!!!

Yikes.
