Just read this again. For the first time since my father who was brother to those boys, and a cousin to one, passed on across that darkling sea.

Not too proud to admit, I'm crying.

Haven't seen you around for a bit, so I'm hoping this'll lure you back.

Awww a whole generation have almost left - makes my heart break , one of my grandfather's was a boy soldier 16 years old in WW1 fighting in the Somme and various other places, my other one was a young man in his early 20s when he landed in the D Day landings in Normandy ...

I miss all the people I knew from both generations , it's so sad that the former have left and the latter , have nearly gone
