UNEXPLAINED sightings of strange objects and lights in the sky have Tasmanians scratching their heads. Olivia Upchurch says she took a photo recently from the veranda of her Dodges Ferry home, in the state's south-east, but didn't notice the strange object in the foreground until she loaded it on to her computer.

Looks like one of the phone app UFOs. www.abovetopsecret.com...

EDIT: It actually appears to be the exact UFO used in this demo vid.

It doesn't seem to have a natural perspective with its surroundings and doesn't seem to have the right lighting angles either. In fact I think that this is such an obvious fake that I'm suprised it has ended up on ATS.

Most of the fakes do end up on ATS. In fact, 99% of all images and videos in the UFO forum on ATS are either fake or identified.

This one looks just like it was created with one of those iCrap apps.

I would have to agree with the iPhone "UFO Camera Gold" being used in this pic. The type, and even the angle of the UFO is almost identical.

Probability of it being fake is > 90% I'd say......Next?

I'm glad to see aliens are getting back to their roots! Good ol hubcap tech!

It's too bad that they make apps for bogus UFO pics and videos.Just another tool in the debunk kit I guess.

This has to be the worst "UFO" photo I've seen in awhile.

How this could fool anyone is beyond me. Just look at it, haha.

Hopefully next time we'll see the real thing.

The number of lights on the OP "ufo" picture is less than that depicted in the demo, so it's not the same one, but having said that, I agree it is highly likely a badly done fake.

Everything in my gut tells me this photo is fake. Just something about the lighting and granulation of the craft that doesn't strike me as natural and consistent with the photo. I'm no expert, but my brain is saying "picture does not compute" Heh.

Yeah, because it likely was not there before "loading it on her computer". Then, once the photo was on her computer, it "magically" appeared, but, was not "Photo-shopped" (could be a true statement, if Photoshop was NOT used to add it into the photo).
