Did Moody's Investor Services Suddenly get Religion?!

Come on, suddenly Moody is downgrading good banks all around the world?
What, They suddenly have the fear of God and truth is so important?
Even Canadian Banks that were some of the strongest in the world suddenly are future problems?

"For five years in a row, the World Economic Forum has ranked Canada's banking system as the soundest in the world," Flaherty said in a statement, adding that even after the downgrades, "Moody's rating of Canadian banks continues to be among the highest in the world."

Where was Moody when the U.S. and British Banks were selling toxic assets around the world destroying people's lives left and right. Now we are to believe their ratings of good banks should be downgraded but where's the massive list of American and British banks that should be junk bond and in jail.
