The democrats are making big mistakes. people are still fuming from the nightmare years under Clinton. they havent shown that they are going to step away from Slick Willy type politics. When people see Sep 11, they see an act committed by persons who wouldnt have been allowed in the country had it not been for ultra liberal immigration slacking. They still see democrats as kissing refugee ass, and as wanting to create friendly plicies to allow more immigrants in under laxer standards. Its the democrats who whined that Arab americas were being singled out and unduly harrassed, when the public opinion was basically, well, yes, it was arabs who attacked us on 9/11, why shouldnt they be singled out? Its not a matter of whose right or wrong, its a matter of the public holding opinions that the democrats are in bold opposition to. The only thing that can save the democrats is some major disaster to befall bush say in Iraq, or the economy to take an even deeper tailspin. If they keep on touting thier poor arabs lets let them in and stop picking on the policies, the american public is going to think that they are setting us up for another 9/11, and thus, make bush a better choice.

Good point Dclark.

There's no good reason not to vote. Many of my GOP friends voted for Nader, in the spirit of supporting a 3rd party. Despite everyone claiming to want to see a 3rd party gain popularity though, that idea doesn't stick out on election day. Find a candidate you like that's not from the 'big 2' and support them

NADER!

That'd show em..... Somehow though, Bush would still get the electoral votes....and there's a certain county in Fl that shouldn't be allowed to vote at all....

whenever I hear how awful Clinton was from the righties in here.

I know that I myself and many of my friends and peers were far better off during Bills WH run then since shrub took office.

With Clinton:
I made more money

I had more time for my family,
only working about 46hrs per week

My 401k was growing daily

All of friends & peers were hapily employed and doing quite well also

With shrub:
I've not seen an increase in 3 years and my pay was actually cut by 10% in 2000, still haven't got that back

I spending 60+ hours a week in the office & less time with the family

my 401k has shrunk and seen no gains at all

many of my friends/peers have been laidoff and have watched as all of our jobs flow over to Asian countries that are full of the Muslims who claim to hate us westerners but sure seem to have great affection for our money and jobs!!!

Oh yeah... shrub has also seen fit to go finish a war his daddy started 12 year prior!! Nice job!! I do support our troops in everything they do, they are the best in the world... but daddy should have finished this 12 years ago when the cost in dollars and lives would have been shared among the coillition rather than shouldered by the USA alone.

And the righties all hate Clinton because of a blowjob in the oval office?! BFD!!!!!!

I will always vote for my wallet over morality any time!!!

shrub is history and a portion we will try hard to forget... the time that a crackhead alcoholic got to be president!!! Only in America!!

The economy follows a pattern. It will rise and fall no matter who is in office. Called the Business cycle.

LoL,

it's ok, can you imagine who some of the challengers could be? J. Ventura would probably own the podium!
