One main area affecting world politics at this moment is the CCP, the Chinese Communist Party.
The problem is the facade the CCP is putting on as reformist and progressive, but the truth is it is still the blood thirsty communist party is was since the time of Mao. They manage to fool many of the world leaders and manage to buy off the media, so people turn a black eye to the atrocities that regime is committing inside china and to the threat it is on world peace.
the cure is to truly understand the nature of the CCP - it is evil, to the core. it goes against human nature, human kindness and dignity. it had enslaves the Chinese and it is extending its influence to all corners of the world. but knowing the true nature of that regime will set the world free

The Chinese people, not just the Chinese Communist Party, are fiercely nationalistic and feel no hesitation in using military power to further national interest.

No sure thing, and I don't really buy it..

China would be better served by staying the course, and continue to gain in power relative to the West. They have the means to increase their influence in the region and worldwide through economic partnership, and wouldn't risk losing a lot if they end up in a major face off.

As it stands, Chinese culture will likely spread without any military action. They are nationalistic, and a big part of that is the belief that they have a superior model of government. With Western economies constantly on the brink recently, they'll more probably allow the West to go through cycles of boom and bust while they remain steady.

I mean, yeah, their economy is slowing...but they'll grow at least 5% a year no problem. And they will slowly address human rights issues.

There is just no reason for them to take bold military action. They are on pace to be the worlds most influential and powerful nation by the midpoint of the century, no need to mess with that.

I do not think China has the logistical resources to do anything efficiently with its military. My personal opinion the Chinese Military would be crushed if it invaded any nation with modern tactics and equipment. Not to mention, they are very much out of practice.

Additionally, America was once where most of the manufacturing was outsourced to during the Industrial Revolution (by the old monied European interests) and for many years prior. Yes, America did become rich and powerful, but the population was vastly reduced compared to present day China [so per capita was much, much higher]. Look at America now: broke and infested with morons.

Rubbish.... Biggest threat to asia is u.s meddling in the region. u.s still upset they got tossed out of vietnam .... so now they want to stir up more # and try to destabilise the region by going after china.... funny without american meddling most countries get along quite well over here and business is booming ...

What threatens the region is Obama cozying up to the leaders of of southeast asia last week!! It like watching the neighbour you hate flirting with your little sister.

Wouldn't it be weird if some strategic warfare was like modern versions of where an entire family gets wiped out so there is no one left to try to avenge anyone. everyone in entire estates and palaces would be killed but there'd STILL be people left often times.

we piss around with stray bullets and wayward shrapnel from more and more drones because less and less people want to engage in combat. we have no idea what kind of enemies we are making, we're not keeping tabs really.

think of all the people who'd like to make America shut it's mouth. I know there are many but I wonder how many really have it bad enough to start slaughtering us like cattle. People try to throw around this idea that other powers could be so easily beaten but American people will never exhaust the supply of people they could throw at us if those people had the gumption to do something about that American mouth. To be in their minds would be interesting and probably complex... and probably much more interesting than being in the mind of the average American. Being an average American is like being a fiction junkie. We can't be beat and we seldom give a damn why as long as there is something to watch on TV because in our world, reality makes no difference.

If an intelligent country decided to finally take the US down a peg, they'd strike hard and covertly. Parades are just for show of power. If someone really wanted to change things in the west, they'd take down a few *entire* bloodlines. It would take some time so it wouldn't start in the open.

someone should compile a list of families being offed... they are probably already trying to kill each other.

This subject has me thinking of the three main races....African, Asian and Caucasian. From smallest to largest believe it or not. I don't know how they divided arabs up though, so that factors in.

Africa, the far east and the caucus mountains.

Why three?...what happened in those places that made the races? I don't believe people just started looking that way. That's weird.

It's like some kind of weird competition.

Somebody needs to explain to us if we are supposed to be competing or if that's just a side effect of whatever the hell happened.

either! China does not need a war, why would they? They have gotten
where they are without war. But people like you just cant handle

Agreed. I could name about 120 countries who are blood thirsty. US and Israel are two of them.

A few land disputes is all the Chinese are worrying about but what makes it worse is the USA sticking its nose in and weaponising the opposition.

USA backed the wrong horse in the Chinese Civil War and is still not over it.

Arming your proxies is a double edges sword and you will hate it when China starts arming all those Toms Dicks and Harries that have a bone to pick with you. America is a Goliath but many Davids on many fronts definitely won't do any good to the overall outcomes of such conflicts. Cajoling China into taking such steps are self defeating.

Do not lose China again.

It is all those countries in the region, including Vietnam insisting the US puts more forces in the region and our the ones offering the bases. The US would prefer the Asian states build up and deal with China on their own but most likely they would just end up fighting each other.
