I know it's killing me.... and I was actually losing weight.
I don't normally eat doughnuts but
Now I have to try one..... just one.

See I was doing ok buying the nitrate free bacon (small packages) then I find an all natural brand with the bits and pieces. It's great, the pieces are irregular some are super thick but I have to cook it all at once. Without preservatives it goes bad fast.

We call it fresh cheese i guess actual word is creme cheese, those comes with many flavours, chili is my fav. You can also stuff with roquefort blue cheese

My favorite way to cook and eat bacon is to stuff large jalapeno peppers with smoked oysters, wrap with bacon and grill! They call them Armadillo Eggs around here, and they are yummy!

My favorite is billionaire bacon:

You mix cumin with pepper and brown sugar until you like what the ratio tastes like - everyone's a little different. Lay the bacon out on a broiling pan, preheating to 400 degrees. Cram as much of the above spice mix on top of the bacon, maybe 1/4 inch high. Stick it in the oven. Do NOT lick the oven when you start to smell the heavenly manna. When the magical topping no longer appears to be powdered spices, and instead looks something like melted caramel, take it out and cool it before you stuff the whole tray down your throat-hole. No need to lay the bacon on any paper towels, if you're into that kind of thing, as the broiling tray catches all of the drippings. And for crying out loud, save the drippings - it's duckfat for the poor. You could fry treebark in that stuff and people would line up for more.

Oh, and if you let this cool completely, you have candied bacon. That's right: bacon candy.

Here is one of my favorite treats.

A Krispy Kreme Bacon Burger!!


Here's what ya do..... take the doughnut and split it. Toast it bread side down. Then when you make your burger turn the glazed side in with the meat topped with extra sharp Cheddar & Bacon. My husband was very skeptical, but after two bites looked at me and said "thanks for getting me to try this".

Another good bacon bite. Cut a jalapeño length wise, de-seed/vein, fill with cream cheese, then wrap with a piece of bacon. Place on the grill until the bacon is done and enjoy!
