Looks like Gary pulled in exactly one percent.

Ive been looking through the web and only am able to find the same google link you posted. There are a few posts on my facebook saying the same thing to from small places such as Blue Republicans. Some pretty disappointing comments on those to. Only 1%, just a bit over a million votes. I was expecting more than just 1%.

Also - When some in the GOP said a vote for Johnson is a vote for Obama...would it really of made a difference with how much Obama is infront of Romney?

people here are to stupid to do what's necessary to kill the two party system, this is why ron paul failed us, if he ran independently he woulda had a SHOT at the 5% thresh-hold

For the record, I never once argued that the elite should not be held responsible for their actions, I want them to pay and suffer just as much as anybody else that knows what dirty tricks they're up to.

I advocate getting rid of the federal reserve and the IRS because that is where the root of their power comes from, that is why they sneakily got the federal reserve act and income tax passed and so on...

I was previously arguing, that we can't advocate to keep these entities alive and at the same time advocate socialist policies like free education, healthcare, and what not because the hand that feeds you will be the very evil that you so hate and want to get rid of.

Getting the government out of the free market (capitalism) takes care of the problem because corporations have embedded themselves into government like cancer and uses the governments' monopoly on FORCE to dictate their agenda to the people. That is why we have bubbles, that is why we have artificially fixed interest rates, that is why GMO's are so rampant, that is why the pharma industry is so f'd up, that is why the prison system is overpopulated with non-violent offenders, and so on.

You let government dictate any policy on an unlimited budget, like EarthCitizen07 so claims, there will be bubbles and massive failure for industries that only exist artificially.

Your pretty spot on and we pretty much agree i'm also a big advocate of getting rid of the federal reserve and the IRS and while we are at it open up and or audit Fort Knox so we know what's really going on there but capitalism should thrive through out the land by businesses and not the government.

What makes me laugh in a sad way is the way countries keep making the same mistakes over and over again in the 1950's capitalism shined and the people and economy were great so what does America do they ship there jobs over to Japan then Japan has the ball and in the 1990's for Japan capitalism shined and the people and economy were great then Japan shipped there jobs over to China and pretty soon China will ship there jobs over to India or were ever i mean you would think they would recognize this trend and keep the jobs in there own countries so there economies would remain strong but i guess to err is human *sigh*....

Well, being a Ron Paul supporter, I guess I should be used to this feeling of being so disappointed in american voters, but I am not yet. Next election, we get another two puppet race. Yay.

The two party system perpetuates itself because a)most of the campaign funds come from private contributions b)the media does not give airtime to those that cannot afford to pay their way. they will give you the bare minimum to protect themselves from lawsuits, like one 5 minute interview per 2 years.

Gary Johnson actually got more than what he put in, and that at the last minute, because some of the elite actually support libertarianism. Ron Paul did the best he could under the circumstances and I commend him sincerly. He raised awareness of how corrupt the election system is and how unbelievably difficult it is to put your door into the republicrat door.

I DON'T think a third party will EVER win in america. Just getting the magic 5% will prove to be a gargantuan task. Too bad! In europe and "third world countries" third parties have 500% better chance with a parliamentary system and campaign caps, but even there, they seldom win elections.

No. It is all about the WTO and the trade agreements reached by all participants. The top capitalists(bilderbergers) and the people who play the stock market DO NOT WANT protectionist measures!

Why the hell would an investor want tarrifs on anything, IF they can send manufacturing to asia for half, one-third, one-tenth THE COST of labor in japan/usa/germany/uk?????

Gary Johnson, Obama and Romney all want the same thing. FREE TRADE! Gary Johnson is actually much worse for the working class cause he is trying to sell people the idea that zero corporate taxation and no irs will somehow make business come back. Corporations and wealthy people ALREADY do NOT pay the taxes in america. It does not matter where a corporation is registered, what matters is where are they conducting business and making the sales. Most of the taxes go to china for example!

America has been getting royally screwed for decades and the people who don't play the stock market are too naive to figure it out.

Yes, I understand though Johnson has to play the game to get in the running.
Will he win, doubtful though I respect his angle.
He had my vote as well as many others to make a point that will be sharpened at a later date.

I like ron paul and gary johnson for two reasons:

a)they are against the military-industrial complex, constant wars and foreign military bases.
b)we need a third party!

I am terrified of how much influence israel has in american policy. Obama needs to control the zionists(jew fanatics) and tell netanyahou to calm down. We should be neutral with israel-iran and that has NOT been the case thus far.

If gary johnson had been let in the door, we would have had better leverage against world war 3. Still I remain hopeful that the democrats are better than the republicans, enough to make a difference.

We need a lot more than a third party; we need proportional representation. That's how you fix America.

As for Paul/Johnson, they also would love to defund public education for elementary school kids and end things like FEMA... no thanks to that nonsense.
