It's because there is no widespread fear being perpetuated by certain political groups against Christianity and others. Islam is being portrayed as a radical religion and that breeds fear and ignorance...which is illustrated by your next statement.

So I will patiently wait for you to provide evidence that these people are radical Islamists and that they are ties to jihadist groups.
