Wow, the conservatives are in that river in Africa. I swear, these people must have the best sunglasses in the world for nothing gets past those blinders. Hell, bet they can look at the sun for an hour straight and never have to blink. Where can I buy some?

EXCATLY! HE NEVER DENIED IT! Meaning he is guilty. You just proved our point.

YAWN!!!

How does it make him guilty? You should become a trial lawyer... or not. This is not a TV series, he may very well have had an affair with the Ms Mackris, does that make him guilty of sexual harassment, which in case you have forgotten is what he is being accused of.

Then WHY in god's name did O'Reilly admit guilt on a radio show?

MSNBC's Olbermann played it last night. He accepts responsibility for it and admits it was a bad thing to do. The man is toast.

O'Reilly is pure slime of the toxic variety and it's hilarious to see him go down like this. His books are littered with pornography and in past he's admitted that he has problems with pornography.

then what happend to the charges against gov. schwarzengger? they came out when he was ahead and on his way to winng, after that they just dried up.

Wow, Clinton gets head, the republicans are all over it, Bill commits sexual haaressment, and the same republicans who wasted millions of dollars and over 200 FBI agents to prove Clinton got head say that this is a conspiracy by the dems. Wow, you people are sad.

this the thing though. in both cases the "victims" come forward when the conservatives are ahead and on the way to winning. thats not right. could they have willfully participated with the people who they are briging the charges on? possibly. and then they come out and say HARASSMENT when their party is losing. to make the conservatives look bad.

the timing of the events in question is convient. you cant deny that.

*note. i am an independant and have no party afficiation.

Did you bother to look through California court records or did you just come to that conclusion because "its it not on fox it hasnt happened"?

I love how conservatives aren't bringing up these disgusting comments that were made by O'Reilly...

Some of my personal faves...

1. His story of the little brown woman who was "amazed" when she saw O'Reilly's manhood (who the f$*k refers to someone as a "little brown woman"...and yeah I'm sure she was just overcome with amazement at O'Reilly's package ROFL - again who says that??? Man has emotional maturity of a guy in high school)

2. How he claims to be undecided to the public but some of the quotes from the Macris reports would claim otherwise. Not like anyone bought that lie anyways.

3. His paranoid rant about Al Franken, and his threat that Al Franken is going down.

4. His whole loofah sponge/falafal escapade (/boggle)

5. How he talks down to women, from most of those quotes it is clear that O'Reilly percieves women as inferior to men. He obviously thinks women are idiots and easily manipulated as well as intimidated by his "power"

O'Reilly doesn't have to be proven guilty of sexual harassment in order for me to realize he is a scum sucking blowhard.

And for all those paranoid conservatives who think this case was made up by the left...really think about that statement... How the hell would this case make anyone vote for Kerry? O'Reilly isn't a part of the Bush Administration, he's a journalist proven to be a corrupt hack. I think most people are smart enough to realize this.

Lecky: ever speak dirty to your girlfriend?? *nudge* *nudge* *wink* *wink* *say no more!

Honestly the woman is 33 years old and an executive producer and couldn't say "I really don't want to discuss these things", but instead" I'll listen to them and record them in case I ever want to slap you with a huge suit"? She left and went back for more? She must enjoy suffering.

I understand you want to protect this fragile lamb, but she isn't really.

As for the conservatives - I object to being called a conservative, I am probably more liberal than you, voting Democrat does not make you liberal - however O'Reilly's show was obviously biased towards the Republican party and had a large viewership so that if he were humiliated publicly his platform would be eroded. I am sure I didn't need to explain this to anybody.

Nah, my main point is that O'Reilly is a hypocritical scumbag innocent or guilty of the charges brought forth against him. That he tries to portray an image on his show as a moralistic, fair and balanced person...when in fact he isn't.

I'll back you on this one Myn. The timing is too much and the thing about the tapes bothers me as well. It seems strange to go to the trouble of taping conversations if you aren't intending to use those tapes later, ala Linda Tripp. Sounds like a planned setup to me.

Even if it was planned, can anybody here HONESTLY say that if the neo-cons had a chance to do the same to Al Franken or Michael Moore, they wouldn't? If you say that you are lying. The point is O'Reilly's entire platform is based on family values and conservative views, this just proves he is a hypocrite, just like Rush Limbaugh, there's no denying that. The fact remains, the tape exists, O'Reilly is not the "righteous" man he pretends to be, and he does not live up to the standards he sets for everybody else.

OK...so even if those eeeevil liberal democrats were behind all this (which I don't believe)...

HOW DARE THEY SHOW THE WORLD PROOF THAT BILL O'REILLY IS A SELF-DESTRUCTIVE, NARCISSISTIC, SCREAMING SEXIST ASSHOLE??? THE NERVE OF THOSE BASTARDS!!!

Eh...shouldn't some of O'Reilly's blind followers be made aware that the guy they idolize is not what he seems...

The douchebag had it coming...

As someone whos been branded a conservative here an ATS, and someone that works in television media...let me shock some of you,

listen, i mostly enjoy his show, and some of his slant, but

O'rieley is guilty as sin....he has not issued any denials, but i also question the tapes....she was setting him up...probably only for support of her case, and less likley some political wing was able to persuade her to get drug thru the public spotlight to "bring down" fox/o'rieley.

ego's like his DESERVE what they get for being mean , condesending, paid WAY too much, buttmunches. He no doubght stabbed his way to the top at fox. Once someone gives a person a soapbox and a HUGE salary..it usually goes right to their head. (ps the same goes for network producers as well, you think she's a joy to work with? Think you get a job like hers without squashing a few people?)

WHY hasnt Fox news fired o'riely for this? Just an allegation of this nature is enough for most companies to not even chance getting sued and just wack the allegedly guilty person. IF Bill was using company assets (phone/time) during the commission of these talks, then he has violated company policy and should be diciplined up to termination, which is the usual penalty for transgressions of this nature.
Human Resource offices in any company are EVIL by nature....they exist NOT to see things the employee way, but to protect the company FROM its employees. With a situation like this, why hasnt this office totaly cracked down?

Tho only plot here is one by an arrogant rich elitist broadcaster, and the one from the person trying to bring him down.
bad blood in media circles lasts forever....if you burn a bridge, its gone for good

Urgh. Grow up.

Go through the California court records and check if the cases were dropped or continued then come back and argue about it.

O'Reilly deserved it. He's long been pegged as a loose cannon by his opponents. What he endeavours to do is not a put-on show, he really hates his opponents once they begin to "debate" with him.

I've long suspected the man had some problems.

Actually I think this woman has serious mental issues. YES, it is quite possible that O'Reilly had a relationship with her and she is bitter or EVEN that he sexually harassed her for phone sex. However there are a few fatal flaws with her outrage.

1) The timing timing timing;
2) "Like any father, he can't stand the idea that this happened to his daughter," Mackris said with her lawyer, Benedict Morelli, at her side. "If he had his way, he'd challenge Bill O'Reilly to a duel."
The man potentially sexually harassed her on the phone - he didn't rape her or take away her virtue. I have been more seriously sexually harassed at the workplace and I never felt so outraged that my father might need to duel the perpetrator. "O'Reilly's camp pointed out in their lawsuit that Mackris made no complaints to Fox News about the alleged harassment, and suggested that she simply could have hung up on O'Reilly, had she wanted."Can you say SUPERHYPE!
3) She is 33 yrs old and CHOSE to return to work for him after being out of his lascivious clutches when she changed jobs; then wrote e-mail to friends saying how happy she was to be back at Fox;"This is not just my boss, this is an incredibly powerful man," Mackris explained. "When he asks me to jump, I say 'How high?' He'd already said that if anybody threatened him in this way, he would drag them through the mud." AND she still went back?
4)This weak little lamb couldn't stand up for herself but now ""Why should we tell what evidence we have?" Morelli said. "They've forced our hand enough. Now they're going on my timetable, and we want this trial to be in court." and ""I feel badly for his family," Mackris said. "But I do not feel guilty. How is it my fault, what has happened here? I could have stood naked in front of him and there was still no way he should be allowed to get away with what he did.
5) It is pretty obvious that she wanted money out of him, not justice. ""We tried to negotiate this in private and they've blown that. There have been no negotiations since the night before they filed their lawsuit.""

No matter how wrong O'Reilly was this woman is an opportunist of the first degree. Methinks the lady doth protest too much.

www.nydailynews.com...

Can posters responding to my post please show me where my logic is wrong other than just cussing at O'Reilly because they dislike him. Every person is entitled to a fair trial even the most despicable.
