Well the video is actually very good....

The way it moves through the air doesn't really resemble any kind of aircraft flight path I would like to be on....

Being in a plane flying around like that I think the sick bags would be out straight away......

My camera work is pretty shoddy, it was actually moving pretty smoothly

I've had a look at the Brisbane Airport flight paths here:

bne.com.au...

From what I can see it should have either been the D or E flight paths but they both have a max of 2 per day and an average of

Looks like a helicopter flying around and the lights are blinking...
I see exactly what you filmed all the time where I live....lots of air traffic over me...

Hey mate,

I'm at Brendale, north brissy, I seen those lights earlier I'm pretty much dead north of you, they are either a small plane or a helicopter, they have one red light and one green light, and usually the green light flashes, I see them every night.

And it's still lightening a lot here too it's great

These were 3 different object moving left to right. Before I got my camera there were 2 objects together. Due to my distance there's no way I could tell you how far apart from each other they were but I guess as an idea, from the perspective of my video, say 1 - 1 1/2 cms....

That's the most logical explanation but as I said earlier after 5 years of living here, this is the first time I've seen anything like this.

I'm quite use to the news choppers flying around doing their traffic reports and when there are games on at Suncorp.

Something just looked different.

Cheers for the input

Edit: Storm must have missed me completely lol

Too easy, you should come up this way one night you'll be amazed at the crazy stuff that gets around the sky lol, I filmed 3 solid orange lights not to far back, but yeah, I see those lights a lot, and there's usually no noise if they are flying towards you then turn away.

You should get some video of what you see. I've only ever had 2 instances of not knowing what I was looking at and this was the second.

Might got out for another smoke before clocking out for the night and see if I see a forth to confirm planes lol

You should do that. And I will link H E R E.

I live in a very very busy airspace area due many airports, multiple military bases and I live out in the country w/ zero light polution....I see these lights nearly every night....they are choppers and small planes.....

Anyays, a good informative thread is always a good thing

Nothing on that smoke break

I'm off to bed for the night but will have a search around the net tomorrow just in case there's any corroborating accounts and if I feel like being antisocial I may hang out at home tomorrow night to see if I see these planes/helicopters/things again.

Thanks to all for the input so far

I was actually expecting to be shot down in flames rather quickly lol It was nice to be wrong.

Night.

I'm from the country too, pitchforks an tractors

Some planes I have video of have the landing lights blinking left to right, right to left and some even look like KIT from knight rider (the pulsing I mean) I've got footage of solid state white lights that make a diamond or triangle shape and it's not until it go's overhead that you hear it's a plane! It's really actually quite interesting watching them

I'll definitley get stuck into a thread sometime soon, when I have some downtime!

I live in Brisbane too so I know that right in the middle of your viewing angle there is a runway at minipi parklands. It's were they fly model airplanes, I think its called the "model aero club" or something. It's fooled me so many times as I drive past, day and night. The planes they fly aren't just toys they have some serious gear too, jets and stuff, some with night vision cameras on board, it's crazy stuff, pretty cool to check out of you're ever over there.

Must be so many UFOs sighting reported from that place lol, I've seen some really odd craft there, one time they had one that was actually shaped to look like a flying saucer.
I almost drove off the road when I saw it.

Hi all, new member, longtime lurker. I live near Dulles Airport in No. Va. I am far from an expert but that looks like no plane I see here. You usually see green or blue lights as well as white. Is this hovering? For years I prayed to see a Alien Saucer and for anyone on the east coast we had a (first for me ever) earthquake. While still outside with friends scared and shaken there was a black object floating that seemed to change shape. That is still a mystery but looking past it I spotted a silver object shooting up, down, left and right. Looking at this vid makes me wonder if this object is a night version of my saucer. Was there any natural disasters/storms/odd weather before this? I was told there a frequent sightings before or after these occurences. Japan earthquake=3 UFOs on film. Not a bad video at all.

Wow, I never knew about that. That's definitely a possibility then. I might check that out one day, sounds cool.
