Can anybody explain why an Israeli citizen is Mayor of New York?

Why doesn't he go tell people in Israel what to do?

Because the US is actually an ally of Israel, so that means we work for them economically, militarily, and socially. They can have their own citizens run for office in a foreign country because if they don't get elected they call you an anti Semite....and god knows that what people think of us is so important. We can't run for foreign office but hey, we can't call them anti Semites for not letting us....so....what right would we have to lead foreign countries by taking over all its leadership?

Lots of people hold dual citizenship. Is Bloomberg not a US citizen as well? I don't like the guy but I don't think there is a law against it.

I know an Air Force officer that did have to declare one or the other because of her position, but she was US and UK for all the time before that.

Haven't they got that the wrong way round?

Everyone in the city should strike until the police stop shooting people for the slightest thing.
