Im a conservative and i dont think i would want to know who supports the republican party or the democratic party , probably would make me even more aggravated and weirded out.

It would be my luck that the taliban are sending funds to the republicans.

government transparency isn't that an oxymoron?

of course they're going to vote it down because we all know what we would find and they would be out on their asses.

Outside of infidelity (sometimes), and child abuse (sometimes) partisans will put up with just about anything from their team. With all the abuse of power and corruption that IS transparent, why would we asume a little more transparency into the crimes of these parasites would make any difference?

you and i perhaps wouldn't notice much difference, but the majority of voters are pretty clueless in general. i don't think they are worried about small private donors, they are worried about large private and corporate donors and people seeing where the big money comes from.

it wouldn't take long for the sleepy general public to see how constituents vote on issues tied directly to their cash cow donors.
