Following this logic, Jesus Christ was faithful to the sacrifice he knew had to make, so was it Father that almost lost faith? Or was Heaven assuming that Father was losing faith? Was Jesus Christ pleading with Father not to destroy his future, physical kingdom?

No, father wasn't losing faith. It was just his actions, that made the others think this. At that time he felt the physical and emotion pain of Brother.
Just like when the others decided to go with the one not spoken, Father went into his chambers alone, and no on knew what was going to happen next.edit on 17-7-2012 by jhill76 because: (no reason given)
