Why is nobody ever in chat?

That's the same problem I have. It might take quite a while for me to get up to 150 posts - since I don't care to up the number with garbage posts. Of course, by the time I have enough posts to allow me to chat, I will likely be too busy to spare the time. Sigh...

and he was late getting home.

I used to be in chat ALL the time. For whatever reason I can never get in now. If I get in it will freeze and it chucks me out. Its most likely a conspiracy to bar me from chatting and Im being HAARPED by the evil CIA agents that run ATS!!! Their haarp is so advances it penetrates my secret computer room I use which is covered in tinfoil. Evil bastards!

In any case, the Chat room has a history of being problematic and has (in the past) been temporarily shut down multiple times due to member abuse, so perhaps what you perceive as "prudish" is simply more of a "head's up" from members who have been through the problems in the past.

I just have that problem where I type really fast and say whatever.
I'll just stick to the threads. Where I can keep myself in check.

Btw,I'm just north of you this week,think of shark gets fish viral vid, that's were I'm at.

Now,I'm not talking like glps crazy #.
But a more mature respectful sort of thing.
I have been involved with such things and it is a great way to connect with like minded people.
Sometimes you get the overbearing personality come along,but if they go ignored,they go away.
