No way in hell is the army going to turn over power to the Muslim Brotherhood. The could very well lead to WW3 in the future.

You have no idea how correct that statement is , God knows exactly where it will take us and xthat will be to all the nations gathering around Israel to destroy her , this is just one more st in that direction. Read Isaiah 19 the third verse tells us God will destroy the counsel thereof , the country is run by a military council now , there words . Then they will be turned over to a cruel lord , Muslim brotherhood and sharia law but first they will seek three idols , there are still three idols missing from the King Tut Exhibit stolen last year during the riots . The council just announced they still seek these idols fulfilling the prophecy to a tee.

TextIsaiah 19 King James Version (KJV) 19 The burden of Egypt. Behold, the Lord rideth upon a swift cloud, and shall come into Egypt: and the idols of Egypt shall be moved at his presence, and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it. 2 And I will set the Egyptians against the Egyptians: and they shall fight every one against his brother, and every one against his neighbour; city against city, and kingdom against kingdom. 3 And the spirit of Egypt shall fail in the midst thereof; and I will destroy the counsel thereof: and they shall seek to the idols, and to the charmers, and to them that have familiar spirits, and to the wizards. 4 And the Egyptians will I give over into the hand of a cruel lord; and a fierce king shall rule over them, saith the Lord, the Lord of hosts.

You you think that God is behind the satanic state of Israel? Do you not remember what happened to the Northern Kingdom? They left God and he sent Assyria. Do you remember what happened to Judah? Same thing and God sent Babylon.

Modern Israel is satanic and is not of God. They are probably engineering this entire Muslim Brotherhood movement so that they can destroy Islam and enlarge their own borders.

At any rate, Israel is not Israel and whoever is over there is not there by the will of God. They have and still do reject God.

the Army has made it clear about how the transition will occur. they set a date for the 30th for the 'handover' of power.

In addition to the Army, Egypt still has courts.

I suppose the press will make it all about 'who holds power' to create a fictional situation but the Army will probably remain strong, independent of the executive branch and work closely with the courts...to ensure no one lets their delusions of grandeur get the best of them.

Oh wow, thank God for that.

It's good the US pressured all of this into happening.

Otherwise.. Egypt would be without a Central Banking System, and a Muslim Brotherhood member as a president.

We really dodged a bullet on that one, phew.

I guess this is what the uprising wanted, huh? Ah well, not like anyone will be talking about this very soon... We're too busy talking about how "save" Syria next!!

The blog by Sandmonkey was interesting. And it makes a lot of sense.

The creation of a democratic state historically has benefited from having a strong figure to encourage a gradual transition from something more oligarchic, so it retains more legitimacy and seems like a genuine improvement. I just don't see the people of Egypt being happy with what they're going to get, and so that country will continue to be a mess for a good while still.

Which honestly, in the absence of foreign intervention, might not be so bad. It took a decade for America to figure out an end to its' uprising and to create a workable government.
