Caffinated Beer?????

I know this might not seem like it belongs here, so if it gets moved i understand.....
But, How far do companies feel they have to go to get people addicted to a product? I mean i like a drink now and then, and i know there's already a problem in this society with over-indulgence with things as it is. But to combine alchohol and caffine....why not just throw some crack in while they're at it....Here's the link with the article.....

One of my hobbies is homebrewing. I've made a lot of different kinds of beer. One of my favorites is coffee beer. "Stay up, get drunk all night"

I make a brew I call Cafe Mocha Stout. Start with a nice Irish stout, add a pot of strong coffee, and chocolate syrup. The syrup is a fermentable, and so adds to the alcohol content of the beer. The coffee gives it flavor and the caffiene.

I think adding caffiene to beer is a brilliant idea!
