Neither type is working in IE, unless you click on the outer edges.
They both work in FF.
I'll update you when I get an answer myself.

As usual late at night I read too quickly and got the wrong end of the stick. Fortunately others here seem to have helped you.

Ok, thanks so much for checking into this, guess it's only for FF users.

Just out of curiosity, why do you have the image in your signature linked to smurf.com?

I promise to alter the contant of the link from time to time, because even smurfs can get boring after a while.

Thanks again defcon et al for helping me out here, I appreciate it.

Best Regards,

NAM

I don't know.. it was just a placeholder, and was only intended to be temporary. I intend actually to link to the zoomable Hubble Deep Field image, but for now it's just smurfs, but not for long..

Gotcha...good a site as any.

...and for what it's worth, i use Google Chrome, the image in your signature currently is indeed clickable linking me to smurf.com, so it appears as though it is limited to IE, whatever the cause is.

And if you're considering the Milky Way Galaxy, what else IS there after that to consider, so might as well be Smurfs, and maybe there are Smurfs out there, or some variation thereof ya never know.. anything's possible.
