I think you mean a "junk" drawer right? The one that catches all of the loose parts, pens and old keys? I havew several.

The problem is I can never remember where that one critical part is or which safe place I put something in

I think you'll find both men and women have a drawer with junk, keys, aftershaves (perfumes),condoms, a book you wanted to read etc etc in it.

The man version isn't necessarily more gruby either!
That's right even women (some) can be grubsters

I have drawers in my house, most contain (manly) junk.

adding "man" to other words has got to be the dumbest thing society has come out with in my lifetime. MANswers and other things of the sort. the media telling you how to be and what makes u a man. mancave. all of these are perfect cases of being told how to act. its thr equivalent to make up commercials saying ur ugly if u dont wear makeup and be sickenly skinny.

I had to go and check, keys yes, batteries yes, take out menus,no problem.

20 unused key rings, broken tape measure, and 3 cell phones all good. I even have chargers for stuff I don't own anymore.

To be honest, i don't thinks it's all as serious as that.....i thought it was just a known fact that men hoard crap.

Now i'm intrigued that women have these drawers too, i didn't realise that.

Lol that sounds familiar, i just binned about half a dozen chargers, now i'm wondering if they were for anything important!

I had four broken head lamps, numerous parts to broken hurricane lamps, varous lengths of tubing and all sorts of other rubbish.

I have a shelf and a drawer. The majority of contents are take away menus, pens, wires for various electronics, pencils, batteries (dead or live, who knows?!).
It's all gonna get chucked though in the next few weeks since we've bought a house, and never had to worry about things like screws or fuses, or torch bulbs, or keys.
I remember when I was younger we had everything and the kitchen sink in them.
Keys, screws, fuses, batteries, pens, pen lids, coins, packets of flower seeds, glue, stanley knife.
"Mum wheres..."
"It's in the drawer!"

We have several man drawers... but within them are about a million twist ties and probably 4 bottles of gorilla glue. Apparently my husband thinks he can fix anything with twist ties and gorilla glue!

The answer is yes we have a man drawer.
Now if we could get our man too use it.

His three old phones are uncharged on a windowsill.

Old menus are anywhere.

Old batteries are in a box waiting to be recharged.

Old manuals are in a mess in a document holder. (I put them in order of rooms, but he tipped it upside down on accident (he says) and now we can't find anything).

Tons of old keys, we have no idea what they are for anymore, are hanging up on a giant keyring.

All organised but like someone said, it's becoming a man house.

BTW we love watching Michael McIntyre. So funny.
