the missile may be a shell actually. A model of a working rocket with no real ability. Basically a couple ton paperweight.

Yes, they invited a lot of foreign media to their space launch, and limited press was probably allowed for the parade.

Click this link for details.

Any of these images could come from N. Korea's official media outlet, KCNA and then get green-screened behind the U.S. reporters.

This is brilliant first japans radiation, now nk has to add to it with a failed missile tipped with a nuclear warhead (we all know the launch will fail be it their fault or our actions) just what the world needs....another nuclear accident

you know what should really worry us the most - this thread gets 99 flags and uber stars in less than 24 hours - but post info about North Korea in the same period of time it gets 5 flags and 3 stars......

Even here on ATS people are indifferent.....

Designed for maximum effect as EMP devices I suspect. It's far more effective to destroy the majority of electronics in the US with 2 well placed detonations than dozens of detonations over cities.

heh i dont know what somany ATSer saw in that looped fuzzy footage of two haloween costume MIBs - mystery.

in contrast, the confrontational/fallout direction of nuclear superpowers imminently is less mystery, more inevitable certainty maybe?
