Can't add avatar?

Hi,
I'm sure this has been asked in a thread before, but, when I add my
avatar it just comes up with a white background with a red x in the middle.
Was wondering if anyone knows why this happens.

Because we don't have permission to access that web-site. You should host it on ATS and link to that location.
