Well bottled water does mostly come from tap water. I know four brands here in Vegas that are bottled at the back of a construction warehouse. They park a truck outside that they filled with Spring water but the bottling is straight from an ope tank filled by tap water with a filter that looks like no one has ever cleaned it...

And how about those machines at grocery stores where you pay to get water? Those are hooked up to tap water too... and I have NEVER seen anyone clean and service those

And I seem to recall that Perrier was recalled once because it had turpentine in it...

And those people with gas in their water... they should hook up a gas line and get the free energy.

Now one thing if methane is coming out of your water tap, seems to me that would be pretty deadly. If it wasn't then there would be no need for gas companies to add ODOR so you know its there. In the case of the water pipes, there is no odor added
