If you're given free speach by the constitution, how can someone take it away from you? Even if you work for whoever... That right is given to you. How can someone legaly take it away? That makes about as much sense as a mud roof in rainy weather.

no one is taking it away, that is what you are missing here. People are free to say as they wish. There are consequences to some of the things you can say, however.

You get as much respect from me as you give your own use of the English language. I don't call people names - I describe their behavior and personality. You'll find I've very little sympathy or empathy for human trends. I call the trends for what they are; objectification of women, athlete worship, obfuscating the psychological aspects of sexual intimacy.

A private owner can make up their own rules as long as they don't break the law. It's not free-speech that they fire you for. They don't tell you you don't have free speech, but bad mouth the company and I don't think there is a law that says they can't fire you.

Well it's people isn't it really? I mean you can't walk down the street acting like a flaming queen in Alabama and not risk getting lynched. That is people taking away your freedom of expression. No law says you can't do it.
We oppress ourselves with our prejudices and judgmentalism. This stunts society and makes people turn into clones of each other in order to not stand out and be different. People don't have character anymore, they don't really think for themselves because that can be dangerous to your social life.

Freedom is not something simply granted by an authority, it is the ability to be yourself without fear of being judged by others. This is what makes 'Christians' hypocrites when they judge gays, for example. The Bible warns about judging others right? But people don't think for themselves, they simply accept what is considered by the general consensus to be 'Christian', and in America, for example, it seems to mean to be right wing, self-righteous, and judgmental. Christians who think for themselves are not like that.

Is it a crime to walk into the local Martin Luther King Jr. Park (A good indicator you've entered the city slums... the man doesn't deserve to have his name slandered by the communities that seem to develop around anything named after him) wearing Swastikas and carrying shotguns?

No.

It's a crime to kill someone outside of self-defense (and some other circumstances - but they all involve some yahoo making a run for something that's going to kill or harm other people).

Most internet browsers have spell-check integrated into them. Some even have grammar checks.

There are plenty of situations where a dash and/or en dash can be used in place of other punctuation marks. They are often used to communicate that something is 'within' the topic, or a tangent to it. This is consistent with comma usage.

I informally use the 'hyphen' as a short-hand for the 'dash,' and to break the monotony of comma usage.

My use of it is not explicitly correct, but consistent with its purpose in other uses deemed to be correct.

Here is where we enter subjective reality. In your reality, you've made some epic point and told me how I have issues and don't think like a normal person does.

In my reality, another critter has keenly observed that I am not quite like them, and that I don't quite fit in; as though I've somehow not been alerted to this little fact of life already. Said critter attempts to explain how; since nothing bad did happen; investigations into situations that can be interpreted as threats are unnecessary. I point out the fallacious argument that attempts to judge via hindsight; and the critter continues to point out how I'm just not quite like the rest of the herd.

In my reality, there wasn't a discussion; simply a failure to instruct an unwilling creature.

I've just gotten used to talking to the wildlife. It's a strange and silly habit - but I suppose it's just as fun to wonder just how much they think... or if I'm just projecting my own sense of intelligence onto their actions. Of course, you know this is taken to the extremes when you are talking to your own forum post.... That's when you know it's time to quit... or write another paragraph about the logic and/or irony behind telling yourself to stop typing. Six pages later, you still haven't stopped.

Yeah... I'm going to be fun when I'm 80 and senile (as though I'm not already).
