War on Terror Parable

One day a group of men came to an innocent village and spoke of a horrible group of creatures which existed in the sorrounding forest. The creatures were said to be vile beings which would try to kill and control the people.

Within a couple of weeks people started vanishing and the group of men proclaimed that it must be the creatures from the forest taking people. The group of men started building walls around the village. When the villagers asked, "Why is it that you are building walls around the village?" The men responded, "These walls are to protect you from the creatures." The villagers didn't want to lose anymore of their friends so they helped build the walls until they were tall and strong.

Weeks later, more villagers went missing. The group of men told the villagers, "We will protect you from these creatures by posting patrols and guards of our men in and around the village." The villagers didn't want to face the wrath of the creatures so they helped forge weapons and armor and gave them to the men so they could protect the village.

Time continued and more were lost. The group of men proposed a curfew because according to them, "The recent victims of the creatures were villagers going out at night." The villagers reluctantly agreed to the measure in hopes that it would allow them to stop living in fear of the creatures.

Finally when it was too late, the people realized the group of men were the creatures. They had just helped their masters create a prison meant to hold them.

this does remind me of TSA DHS FBI CIA NSA FEMA,they to came as "we shall protect you" now look at where we are at, NDAA2012, the "P" act, and other measures deemed for our own good.
