Hows it going ATS conspirators, heros, mystics, rebels, cosmologists, economists, and so on. I hope all is well on this Saturday night. With the wide range of topics that are discussed on the forums here I figured this was as good as any to search for any and all antique oddities.

Since I was young my parents were always taking me and my sister out to random small town antique shops and set us free to look thru the "rubble" and see if we could find anything interesting. To this day I continue to enjoy finding antique oddities.

I have not, until now, begun to make my own collection of oddities. I have an old norse map/globe, WW2 warhead, and classic 1957 Chevorellete Corvette (convertable) model car (not odd, but still sweet) just to name a few. But, I want to expand my SMALL collection and was hoping some of you had an advice as to websites or small antique stores on the East Coast that I could visit and sort through the collection.

I recently have taken a liking to more of the mystical/paranormal side of these collectables tarot cards, weggie boards, astrology charts and so. I don't want to limit myself though if you have ideas outside of this, so please if this is something your into and don't mind dropping a few hints I would appreciate it!

Cheers

Sounds like a wonderful collection you have. I love antique shops, you never know what kind of treasure you may come upon.

Meh. It needs to grow! Lol. I get bored easily and I enjoy making my house an sort of "jungle to be explored." When people come over I want them to instead of finding the nice spot on the couch in front of the television, walk around and pick things up and wonder. It makes for a much more interesting topic of discussion.

I like to look through those shops too they're great fun.

In my small collection I have a sea shell and it's contents has become opalized
The shell remains mostly intact and looks like a cockle shell.

I found it in the outback as ancient Australia once had a vast inland sea.

I would get rid of the ww2 era warhead though, safely

The collection sounds interesting and would be great if you could share some pics of your favorite oddities.
